I absolutely agree with this. I've been using Instagram since 2015 and art traction was so much easier before it was bought out by Meta. Honestly Facebook has completely screwed up the algorithm and makes it difficult for anyone starting out.

I really hope to find a better drawing app or social media that makes it easier for new artists to get the spotlight they need.

Before I go to bed though, does anyone remember when Smiling Friends pilot was initially made available online? Wikipedia says April 2020 but I could've sworn I remembered finding it online when I was in college in the fall of 2019 and sharing it with all my college friends in my dorm. Like I vividly remember seeing it precovid. Maybe I'm going crazy though.

Btw, hate to do it twice in a week but no daily drawing tonight. My sleep schedule is absolutely screwed and I haven't slept in well over 24 hours. I need to actually make an attempt to sleep.

Another heads up about daily drawings I should mention is starting in June I will be essentially working 15 hour days some days of the week. So I'll try my best to keep up with it but there may be some days I'm just simply too busy or I need to just go to work and school and then crash.

If you'd like to help me out financially as I juggle work and school, feel free to dm me, I'm sure we can work something out. Unfortunately I'm not available for digital drawings yet, but I am for traditional art and sketches.

I'm curious about the apparent leak for the Nintendo Switch 2. Honestly it feels like them rolling out hardware like they did with the DS line. I'll be curious if this leak is true if it will be worth getting it. Honestly I'm still happy and content with my regular old switch I got in 2017
