I sometimes feel bad that my chapters are like 3k words but my brain will mentally tap out and get irritated if I can’t finish a chapter or I’m “stuck” on it, and will eventually lose motivation 😭

Slowly but surely would love to try for longer chapters but good grief 😂

You ever just write a chapter for your fic and the chapter feels like a series of disconnected scenes and you don't know why they're not flowing?

Then you get the opposite problem: I have deadlines and this needs to sit in the backburner. I haven't forgotten. I will update. We will work on it and have a lot more Rouge and Nanami interaction next chapter. I just NEED THE DEADLINES TO COOPERATE

Rouge supporting Shakky when she was pregnant with Mihawk and them raising him on their ship

Shakky never getting the chance to do the same for Rouge and Ace

Two women who had such fun together and life cut things short

Guys just imagine if Roger was present at Ace’s birth😭 Honestly, I feel he’d be holding Rouge’s hand and suppressing his wince with a laughter cause she’s crushing his hand (let’s be real, Rouge has the bone crushing strength of the Clan D)

He’s holding her hips

He’s getting her ice chips

He’s brushing the sweat from her brow and kissing her forehead that she can do it 😭

Just Roger being there with Rouge when she gives birth 😭

But they also sit together for tea and sweets, share tales and gossip, and coo over LinLin's babies

Have they tried to sink each other's ships? Absolutely

But they'll have a good laugh too
