There was a huff as he moved around and stared at the scribe before shaking his head and wandering off to the kitchen, making a snack for them both. He set one plate down before huffing again and moving to his room to get some work down. Kaveh had a lot of designs to work on and he knew he would be pulling an all nighter.

The blonde ate some of his snacks before getting to work. He began to sketch away, coming up with some designs for his new client.

While Alhaitham tended to not get along with Kaveh very well, there were maybe a few times where the two actually bonded and started to grow close, but with all of Kaveh's constant nagging to where it just started to look like the two were some kind of bickering couple, Alhaitham started to have many questions in his thoughts about this guy. Without a few drinks, Kaveh would just be talking some kind of smack about the scribe, but if Kaveh actually had a few drinks then he would praise the scribe.

"I'm going to regret asking this..." Alhaitham thinks to himself and sighs as he deactivates the noise cancellation mode on his headphones.

"Kaveh, I know everything I do really just annoys the ever living crap out of you, but aside from that, is there something about me that just really ticks you off? I'm not forcing you to live under my roof and under my rules, you know." If Kaveh wanted out then Alhaitham would be more than happy to give him back his keys, although admittingly Alhaitham would grow a little lonesome as he never really had anybody else live with him aside from his aranara companion Aramitama. At first Alhaitham was highly against rooming with the architect, but as the years had gone by he's gotten quite use to his nagging but that also didn't mean Alhaitham wanted to hear it every damn day.

"Oh? Ignoring me today? You think that will stop me?" he asked before moving behind the scribe and placing his hand on the man's back to show that he was there. "Honestly, you are such a handful, you know that?"

He definitely could not hear a word his roommate said which has been the entire point of the scribe himself activating noise cancellation mode for his headphones. He should thank one of his fatui friends again for making these headphones just for him with the addition of noise cancellation mode. What makes it even more special is that the headphones were a birthday present from that fatui friend of his. Alhaitham always wondered why of all people he had to be stuck with this rowdy man of a roommate who is constantly nagging about this and that as if he were his mother or grandmother. However Alhaitham's own parents had abandoned him, so what would he know about having a loving family, right?

The moment he felt a hand on his back, one would think that one would react, but this guy? He didn't react. He just continued reading and taking a sip of his coffee, mostly to spite the architect.
