* Hajime is laying on the couch, silent. He seems troubled by something. After a while, he decides to say something.
…So, what’d I miss while I was in that other universe?
[She sits down next to him.] A lot.
wHERE THE HELL-
* He jumps off the couch. You spooked the boy!
[She takes a sip of her soda and looks at him.] …Hello to you too.
* Hajime takes a deep breath.
…How the hell did you get here?
Oh, you know. [She takes another sip.]
…Okay… So, what exactly did I miss during the… what, at least like 4 months I was gone?
Well let’s see… Several people came from my dimension over to this one, several people from other dimensions came to this one, I nearly destroyed the entire city, there were some bitches from the reserve course and I don’t know what happened to them, loads of missing siblings appeared apparently and I still need to meet them… [She takes another sip.] …And some stuff I probably forgot about. [She sticks out her hand for him to shake.] I’m Aika, by the way.
* He shakes her hand, even more confused than he was before.
…I’m Hajime. Nice to meet you…? I… Okay? None of that made any sense.
Basically, a lot of inter-dimensional bullfuckery and petty bitches. [She takes another sip.]
…Okay then. Glad I’m back. I guess. That’s a lot to take in at once.
…Plus I did kinda appear with no explanation. That’s kind rattling too, huh?
Yeah. I still don’t understand how you even got in here but something tells me that asking questions is just gonna make things even more confusing.
[She finger guns.] You got that right, Hajimeme. You’re a fast learner.
* He laughs a bit.
…Well, it’s good to be back with everyone. This is gonna take some getting used to, though…
Yeah, especially since there are now people from other dimensions. But hey! You’re doin’ okay with me so far, so it should be that difficult.
Yeah. Thanks for catching me up on everything, Aika.
No problem. [She offers him a soda can that she got from who knows where.] Want one?
“Hey, have you two seen Rantaro or Kaito?”
Chiaki is here now apparently, sitting upside down on the ceiling.
How did you get u- Not gonna ask. I haven’t seen either of them in a while, I’m not sure where they went.
“Shame,” she says as she stands and jumps, landing perfectly on the ground with a dramatic as fuck pose. “I was suppose to meet them here. Rantaro had called me earlier.”
Huh. Weird.
* He sips his soda.
Nice landing.
“Thanks,” she says as she sits. “So… Aika’s been catching you up on everything, huh?”
Yep. She teleported in here and then started expositioning.
“Hello!~”
..It’s just Marx again. Of course it’s the clown.
…You look familiar. Sort of.
Chiaki just quietly stares at Marx with an unnerving look.
“Ohh? Who’s this?” Marx looks at Chiaki with a grin. Clown bastard.
You just gonna… Stand there or…?
“..Hm. It’s hard to be threatening without my wings. This blows.”
Marx crosses his arms.
“We already have enough people breaking into Kaito’s place. State who you are or else.”
“Ah! Why I’m the future ruler of Popstar, a member of the self proclaimed ‘Codename Crew’, and the cosmic jester himself, Marx!” He grins.
“Good for you,” She says, clearly not impressed.
“..Hey! It’s preferred you show respect to someone you haven’t met, especially someone of high authority.” Marx scowls at Chiaki. She reminds him of someone familiar.
[Aika turns to Chiaki.] Did you hear something?
“Nope,” she replies.
Marx is clearly angry.. Until he remembers something.
He takes out a small ball, and throws it onto the ground, colorful smoke releasing from the ball.
“…. Rantaro and Kaito might not appreciate that,” she says calmly.
“Do you think that stops me?”
He then takes off his hat, taking out some weird.. Water balloons?
He throws them all around, splattering paint all over. Oh, they were filled with paint.
“WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK??”
Kaito is here and boy is he pissed.
* F E A R.
Marx just starts to break shit. Y'know, because what else do you do when you’re a bastard?
“Stop it!” Kaito says. “If you don’t… I’ll let Chiaki go after you.”
“And what will she do? Throw me into a giant clock god? Split me in half?”
He won’t stop breaking everything he sees. Oh boy.
Kaito growls. “Okay fine… Chiaki… Don’t do whatever the fuck you did to that mountain, but have at it.”
Marx refuses to stop being a piece of shit. Oh my God.
The next thing Marx knows, he is pined to the floor by Chiaki’s foot, and she managed to crack the floor too. She looks… ready to kill him.
“Stand down you foolish mortal, lest I unleash my wrath upon you.”
Marx is trying to escape, but to no avail.
“Let me go, you, you fiend!”
“But you would wreck havoc once more. I cannot allow that to stand,” she hisses.
“Well maybe, just maybe, if you weren’t such an idiot, you would’ve stopped me earlier! But noooo, you have to be called upon by someone else like a pet!” Marx grins while saying the last sentence.
“It’s people like you that ruin fun!”
…Let me kill him. [She looks kinda pissed.]
Chiaki nods.
[She grins and stares at Marx, cracking her knuckles.]
* Hajime’s just staring at everything that’s going on with a mix of horror, confusion, and awe.
[She picks Marx up by the collar of his shirt so he’s dangling in midair.]
Marx is just smiling.
[She grins back… Before punching him so hard in the face that he’s sent flying through the wall and across the city.]
“Nice shot.”
Eh. I’m outta practise.
Hey uh WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT?
A punch.
…
* He just sits back down on the couch, shocked.
You good, man?
…Y-yeah, yeah, I’m good.
Ah, alrighty then… This was one of our smaller incidents, by the way. Get used to it.
…
* He lays down on the couch, facing away from everyone.
H-Hajime? You good?
“Hajime?” Kaito asks.
…
* He sighs.
This is just gonna be an everyday thing, isn’t it?
“Yep, and hell even I’m not use to it,” Kaito said.
* He buries his face in the couch.
Why did I get my hopes up?
It’s better than staying hopeless.
“Hajime? What’s wrong? Were you expecting a normal day?”
Kinda, yeah! I... I thought that when I got back from that other universe, everything would go back to normal and I could just get on with my life but just... ugh. Even if this crap wasn't going to happen every day, it still wouldn't be the same.
