at some point the effort of just making a daily queue will come to me. Not today though.

More roots n stuff. I'm a big fan of how the jewels turned out for doubling season though, the shading gives a bit of that translucent feel.

No notes on fanatical devotion other than that i find the posing really funny.

I usually stay pretty close to the art style of the card I'm working from. But sometimes you just gotta get silly with it.

i might have fucked around too much with the light/shadows at the top but i'm pretty happy with the folds in the sheets.

Horses are so goddamn weird. I drew this with the reference image open on my phone directly next to it and it still looks wonky.

oops forgot to post one yesterday. Double Cards today!

The Llorwyn block will always be my favorite for many many reasons but most of all bc the art all Fucking Slaps. Recreating the watercolor aurora sky with pen and ink would have driven me insane so i didn't <3.

Sometimes you try a thing that seems funny at the time and it doesn't quite work out artistically.

In general, I mean. This one's perfect, 10/10 no notes.

Pro tip: when you decide to proxy an entire commander deck's worth of cards for a Bit, double check that you're not going to spend half an hour painstakingly drawing squiggly roots
