very strange to be a fan of a "classic" thing bc like. its overrated. its underrated. everyone knows OF it but its a toss up if theyve actually ever engaged with it. you want to talk to everyone about how good it is but its so culturally ingrained that everyone waves off your glowing review as "well duh, its [classic thing]". its dismissed and overlooked BECAUSE it is so good. you cant find anyone to talk to about it except for deranged ppl on tumblr bc the masses havent actively thought about it in 30 years. its been referenced in every form of media since it released. no one gives it a second thought. youre going crazy.

I don’t remember how anything works and the excess of buttons and menus confuse me…but the back-on-Tumblr experience feels immediately good.

The image posting and drafting and tagging system here is 5-star luxury experience compared to what I’d been putting up with elsewhere 😭

Seriously considering reviving activity on this acc. Not sure where to start though...whether to crosspost all my old work or just post whatever new work.

I'd permanently moved from tumblr to twitter way back, then with twitter meltdown I'd moved to bsky...but the serious UI/UX flaws (esp the terrible image viewer quality) and something about the overall culture on that platform has been rubbing me so wrong, and it just doesn't seem to improve...

In all those respects Tumblr looks like the better option, but I have to relearn the interface.

Has Astor ever fallen in love with a human or other supernatural entity? What kind of personality atracts him? :x (Sorry for all the questions)

Astor’s love life is going to be handled deeply in his canon which I am currently seriously writing so I can’t go into detail, but he does “fall in love” with certain people. When I say “love” it doesn’t necessarily involve dating or marriage.

He’s easily attracted to personalities with great power, intensity, and vitality–monstrous people who could and would crush him like an ant. Astor’s got a very intense, thrill-seeking personality, so he is drawn to people who give him that rush he craves. 

He’s also attracted to certain calmer personalities–but those individuals also tend to have a darkness and intensity to them which captivates him in a different way.

astor is a very interesting character! i looked through your tag for him and i really love his design?? it's so cool and spooky

thank you so much! I’m so happy to know you enjoy him 😍💖 he really is a fun character, with a deceptively plain design and a fun, occasionally deep and dark romp of a story I’m once again dying to show everyone. I’m glad to find his kind of look still seems to appeal to people, since I figured the “2000s edgy dark subculture” aesthetic of this particular story is pretty outdated by now.
