Was she REALLY so easy to read? Apparently so. She felt her cheeks FLUSH with embarrassment that even HE had taken notice of her feelings. And for his BROTHER, of all people.

When he put it like THAT, what she was doing sounded pretty STUPID.

“It’s just… he can be so… so DIFFICULT, sometimes. It’s like… he doesn’t think the same way as everyone else. I don’t even know HOW to talk to him half the time…”

Holy shit was the look on her face dumb. This underdone microwave dinner was legit trying to kill him. Why was he wasting his time on her again? Right, for the sake of everyone else. He snorts. ❝ Tch, duh, didja really need to think about that one? That’s rhetorical, I already know the answer. ❞

He almost feels bad for her.
