This was a commission to recreate the image below with Oguri Cap. The background is a really weird overpaint where I traced it for the perspective and then colored/rendered it without tracing. Really happy with the color palette on this one.

I've been working on this for two weeks, but I think the time was well spent.

The game is Yunyun Syndrome! Rhythm Psychosis and it just launched on Steam last week. I've been waiting for it since last spring and it's definitely worth the buy.

I made another American Uma!!! This is American Pharoah and she's here so that Gallant Fox doesn't get lonely. This design almost killed me, but the appropriate amount of time has passed without working on it that I can actually look back and enjoy the piece.

Pharoah and Gally's real life counterparts were both described as very friendly horses, but Gallant loved to toy with his opponents by front-running and then slowing down and Pharoah was easily startled by noise, so I'm picturing their personalities as an introvert/extrovert kind of dynamic.

I don't wanna just keep doing Triple Crown winners, so Seabiscuit is next on my list. And if you've heard his story, you know I can't Uma-fy him without also drawing Pumpkin.

The design breakdown from my Patreon: This design is showing a lot more skin with a much more feminine outfit, a very modern and stark contrast to Gallant's 1700s French military uniform. She sports a trendy Hime cut and painted nails, as Pharoah ran in 2015, while Gallant ran in 1930. I wanted to stay close to the jockey's colors and only shoot for an Ancient Egyptian inspired look rather than an accurate one. I wanted her to look a bit like she was wearing a pharaoh Halloween costume. I kept the dark bay color and faint star true to the real life horse, along with the cotton balls that they used to use to plug his ears during races.

Today is Helios' birthday, so I decided to draw both the Uma Musume and her real life counterpart.

I chose the real life Helios' bedazzled bridle to match the gyaru character design. Both of them are running while laughing: Helios' signature. This track corner was also taken from the Kyoto Racecourse, which was the home of Helios' first G1 win. Happy birthday, Daitaku Helios.

Varmintfeathers is holding an art contest for a new PFP, so here's my submission. I had a couple different ideas, but settled on their OC, Vega, with a mouthful of feathers. I wanted her to have a very cute/surprised look, like she was caught eating something.

That cat is giving a mean stink eye. Sorry I couldn't fit the dex numbers on there, but here's a Chespin because I really like its body shape.

I have the Scolipede design tattooed on my right arm and wanted to make a Breloom design for my left. I probably won't get it done anytime soon, but I wanted to design it now so that the style matches.

Honestly, I like this style enough that I'm open to requests. You can comment (or ask) with the Pokemon and I'll make it between commissions!

Scolipede tattoo that I designed for myself. I threw the sketch together in the airport before digitizing it and having my cousin tattoo me in the Philippines.

Scolipede is my favorite Pokemon and I really wanted to capture the silhouette and the horse motif. The 545 in place of its pattern represents its Pokedex number.

After a few more iterations than most, she's finally here.

My client was honestly fantastic when it came to communication, and I'm glad I could bring the vision to life. I love practicing lanky body types and don't often get anthro commissions, so I had a blast with anthro/monster commission.
