first things first MASSIVE APOLOGIES for my ugly theme i’m still working on it but i wanted to get this up cos i was slacking on it. anyway since no one here has ever heard of severus snape of course lemme tell you aaaallll~ about him ( kidding, obviously ) sooo this is my second time playing snape in a rp and sometimes i play him a lil ooc but i’m gonna try not to do that in this rp ok ok moving on

sev’s childhood was sad. he loved his mother even though she didn’t really know how to be a mother --- he pretty much raised himself --- but loved him in her own unconventional ways. he grew close with her family and used their surname to reclaim himself as the half-blood prince.

his father on the other hand was neglectful and although never hit him, did exhibit somewhat violent behavior. he had demons and like to take them out on his son and his wife, and they fought often. and loudly.

the lack of care in his childhood basically shaped his bitter disposition.

his parents are both still alive, but recently moved to london and left him their home. sev still talks to his mother occasionally but never speaks to his dad.

tbh his unhealthy and resentment toward his father is low key the root cause of his disdain for muggles.

his first year of hogwarts he knew more curses and hexes than most seventh years and was prideful of it. practiced often on animals.

avery and mulciber were his best friends until the attack on mary macdonald, but he never told them that was the reason.

lmao sev hates james. hates him. hates everything about him and it absolutely boils his blood that he and lily recently had a son together.

he misses lily and regrets every day what he said to her, but it’s hard for him to talk about her. even harder to see her, so he avoids her at all costs.

currently a spy for voldemort and not yet a double agent, but he still has a lot of love for dumbledore 

he keeps to himself mostly and has little to no interest in other people

also currently he’s been doing a lot of writing lately, under a pseudonym and often lurks in the shadows of hogsmeade, especially in the bar at the hog’s head.
