i loved that new copper actor when he was in hollyoaks hes actually really good!

and i think callum may not be involved as it mayy be a short stint and i guess this copper may be involved in something dodgy. could he be the gloved guy about to shoot oscar/lauren

i did think it will probably end in something nefarious for them to bring in a new character when i saw the announcement, but i'm really not up to speed on what's going on in ee. combined with the zoe death leak it just seemed like mismanaging resources

i was fully wrong about how ee handled the whole sa situation and yay for that. but even once it became clear they were taking it seriously, i didn't expect the reveal so soon, i thought it would be on thursday maybe. curious to see where it goes

remember how callum was with Whitney’s originally and her past abuse? I can see callum maybe talking to johhny about supporting a partner when they’ve been asaulted via bringing up whitney, I know crazy idea but Whitney’s abuse was common knowledge and maybe off screen him and Whitney talked about it when they were together in that time period. It would also kinda fit cause whitney when she was going through the grooming never clicked till afterwords that it was abuse. Similar to johhny right now.

I'm a little uneasy about how the show is positioning Johnny's "choice". Not necessarily inside the show because we haven't seen next week but EE twitter's posts on the sl don't hit the right tone for me.

It really makes me wonder how they're going to handle it on Monday and Tuesday.

Putting that aside, I wonder how Johnny and Callum continue their relationship from here on. Essentially saying that Johnny was willing to be SA'd out of love for Callum and then have Callum feel guilty over that seems like a really odd choice for a relationship we've barely seen and which his only 4 months old.

That's pretty poisonous but I suppose we'll see how it plays out.

(have not watched today's ep yet but) i think on some level this story is meant to show us where they stand as a couple. it's a pretty deep cut so want to paint it as a pretty serious relationship. the timing or pace of it is weird, sure, but i think that was the goal with this. whether it works or not depends on how it plays out, i'd say
