Phoebe is more or less residing in Mystic Falls with her sisters while Coop keeps the young PJ back at home (UNTIL COOP IS TAKEN, AT LEAST). She still writes for the column and is working on a new book. She is also currently four months pregnant with Parker but only those closest to her know that at the moment.

"Did you just say---" Mustard. Maybe a weird 2000s thing, or someone punking him. Except the moment Chris actually looked at her, he knew. It'd been so very long since he had heard his aunt's voice, and unlike his mother her memory didn't stain his very soul. He loved her. Of course he loved her. But too much had occurred for the chance to actually mourn, there was never any time for such emotions. Not for Chris. "No. No water or mustard here. Somehow I doubt you'll get a different answer from anyone else." He shouldn't be making conversation. He shouldn't be humoring her, humoring himself. He was just making a path for future consequence.

SHE HICCUPED WITH ANNOYANCE BUILDING. Of course not at the other but herself for not thinking ahead. It's far too easy to notice the somewhat glowing hearts floating around her each time she hiccupped. "It helps with nausea." Why even tell him other than to maybe help him not look at her like she was absolutely batshit crazy. The perk of being a witch? Having somewhat of the ability to know old ways to make things like this not suck so bad. "Turns out being pregnant in the middle of the end of the world sucks just as much as any other time does."

this was it. the infamous mystic falls. jesse recalled briefly seeing what remained of the town when they had been a little kid. it'd been the same when they returned as an adult. unsurprising. for them it'd been little more then 18 days. they turned their annoying big map upside down again, trying to find where they actually were. "it shouldn't be this hard to find a library." they remarked. education had been difficult to say the least in quor'toth. some of them took to it, others did not. there was lots to learn and most of it hadn't been schooling but survival. not to mention their teachers had been nothing more then teenagers themselves. it was hardly a conducive learning environment. at least that explained away jesse's map reading skills. or lack therefore of.

PHOEBE HAD GOTTEN A MAP HERSELF when she first arrived in hopes that she could find a reason this town in particular seemed to be a beacon in the world of the supernatural, only to find it really pointless in the end. "It doesn't help that they haven't updated it since the nineties. The library is actually that way, two streets down." Phoebe explained before pointing out the direction of which way to go.

Being the whitelighter to the charmed ones meant having knowledge of events around them. He was still struggling to process the knowledge of his son's turn to evil - despite Chris's time back to save Wyatt. He had adjusted to the fact they and saved him only to be in the same position again - and with his three present children being so young meant he was juggling a lot. Head resting on the table and eyes shut, he dived up when he heard a noise. "What...What...I'm up..." he stated.

SHE HAD WENT AWAY FOR A FEW DAYS with Coop and in those few said days, they fought like cats and dogs over the fact that she was still a Charmed One despite the fact that she wasn't just a mother to PJ but another baby on the way. Big surprise. Didn't he know the sisters would do what they weren't just needed to do but destined to do? It didn't stop just because the sisters settled into a peaceful life as sisters, wives and mothers. "You're lying," Phoebe announced as she twisted and settled into the chair beside the couch. "What happened while I was gone, Leo? You look like you haven't slept since the war you fought in."

percy was enjoying the chaos he seemed to have found himself in. The factions were of little interest to Percy. He had grown up in the underworld to become the source once of age, but the rise of the good side and the twice blessed child Wyatt -his cousin made that impossible. Percy was the anti wyatt. Twice cursed. Born to a charmed one and the source of all evil. And yet here he was acting for the greater good on times. Percy would do anything he needed to restore his view of order and over throw everything. "If my mom and aunts could see me now.." he scoffed sarcastically enjoyong a drink after vanquished one of wyatts followers.

HER GUARD SEEMED TO BE UP in this town. It didn't matter if she were talking to her sisters or someone she had come to know; Phoebe found herself hesitant. It wasn't just her life at stake but wasn't that always the case? She couldn't help it. "I'm sure they'd be proud," Phoebe offered, though she felt her stomach roll from emotions she knew were definitely not her own. He seemed familiar but she couldn't put her finger on it. "but call it a wild guess. You didn't do that for them." Vanquished the figure she'd seen a time or two.

so they weren't pretending. connor was kind of grateful for that. it was hard enough pretending with the people who were closest to him, feeling like he was lying to them constantly--- probably because he was, right down to the memories that they shared. he loved them still. their new memories were real, even if they were built on lies. it was the lies in those building blocks that made them so flimsy though, why he feared them tumbling down so much. "like sunnydale?" he asked, challenging her knowledge. he himself wasn't too educated on the hellmouth but he'd heard enough to get the point. "when you say elements do you mean the typical or something else?" elements was all too vague of a world when it came to magic, and connor didn't know magics well enough to narrow anything down. so instead he listened. "and what spirit energy is that?" curious, he wondered where this woman came from for her to be so familiar.

"TRUTHFULLY?" Phoebe questioned for a moment before giving a small shrug in response, "I'm not sure if it is like Sunnydale or not. I've heard of it but I had my hands full in San Francisco with my sisters. I didn't get out very much." and when she did, it really wasn't that long. Even China had only been a few short weeks. "A nexus is based on the Pagan points in geography, joining in the middle to produce pure supernatural energy. This place... it doesn't make sense as one. It's more of a portal than anything. The bigger question would be how to close it."

THE STENCH WAS NEARLY UNBEARABLE. Why couldn't demons smell like fresh roses and whatever the hell a rainbow smells like? Nope, she wasn't that freaking lucky. "I'll have you know this is my job," Phoebe declared as she stepped away from the mess and stench. Never mind that it HAD BEEN her job. It hadn't quite been that way in a few years until the threat called all Charmed Ones to Mystic Falls. "but if you want you can have all the smelly ones if it means that much to you." Because while the kid seemed cocky, she wasn't going to protest too much when she could feel the yet to be named baby telling her to walk away.

SHE SLID BESIDE THE OTHER NODDING SLIGHTLY BEHIND THEM hoping Paige would catch on. "Spot over there keeps saying he's a werewolf," Phoebe whispered, eyes glancing at the man wearing what appeared to be a life like fur suit. "I'm not the only one losing my mind in this place."

HER STOMACH ROLLED AND SHE FELT IT COMING. Not with a breath but a BANG of a hiccup, causing what appeared to be energized hearts to escape her mouth. She didn't understand it. Why was the indigestion always some form of magical nonsense? Even better, she wasn't aware she'd go through it again some time in the future. She sat down, crouched over, hiccupping up a nasty storm. "Please tell me you have water or mustard on you?" she asked the person approaching, more out of curiosity to try to get her hiccups under control.

mystic falls wasn't new to her, though 2031 was certainly different than 2031, that was for sure. so exploring it now felt like a bit of an adventure. considering the adventures she's had lately, this one was definitely benign. the face pj saw through the crowd was enough to stop her dead in her tracks. warmth bloomed in her chest, cracking the sheet of ice that had frozen over her the moment pj had lost her. a giddy, childlike expression flashed over her features at the sight of the woman who she hadn't seen in the flesh for too, too long. her feet carrying her to the other's side, moving of their own volition. unsure of what to even say, of what she should say. all thoughts had seemed to poof right out of her brain the closer she got. the voice registering in her ears brought on an overwhelming amount of feelings. quickly she swallowed it all back, all the emotions coursing through her, pushing them deep down inside, for now at least. pj wasn't sure it was smart to lead with her identity, with her connection to the woman in front of her. no matter how desperately she craved to throw her arms around phoebe and never let her go. ❛ oh, um, tenderhearted ? benevolent, maybe ? guess it depends on the sentence. ❜

PHOEBE SMILED WARMLY AT THE OTHER, noting the sudden quietness of emotions from the other but not paying too much mind. If anything she found herself grateful to not feel the wave so smotheringly anymore. "I like both, thank you. I'm currently working on a novel and I can't quite figure out my heroine just yet." It would be about love of course but otherwise, Phoebe's brain was drawing a blank. "I usually have a better way with words, I swear." Phoebe laughed, noting that the other seemed familiar to her but she couldn't quite place it yet. "I'm Phoebe."

Suspicion didn't used to be a normal emotion to Connor before regaining his true memories. Now it lived and breathed in him the same as his very lungs. He eyed the woman, caution apprehending him. You're right. There were no two more suspicious words in the human language. "... I could be amendable to that." He liked sandwiches, but more then that he liked getting shit done. Even if this was a compromise, it was a start. "Quid pro quo." Connor called it. "You start." Her starting was relevant because, ultimately, his knowledge of this 'Mystic Falls' wasn't too much knowledge at all. He did know firmly about a lot of other hell beasties though, and just maybe that would be enough to count.

PHOEBE MOVED ONLY TO TAKE HER READING GLASSES OFF knowing that the article she was trying to write wouldn't be the focus anymore, any time soon. There were far more pressing matters at stake here. "As far as I am aware, Mystic Falls is a nexus of the sort. Like this," she moved to pick up her tea cup, "This is the world and this," she spoke as she picked up the napkin and placed it on top so it fell around the cup, "is said world of weirdness and strangeness you're looking for. The only difference is that nexuses typically work with the elements. It's not good or bad... but this place is attracting both, and that's concerning because I quite frankly don't think this is the same spiritual energy I'm used to myself."

over the years the universe had pulled she and her sisters in a multitude of directions. they'd lived hundreds of lives outside their own, been a handful of beings aside from the charmed ones ( a supposed side effect of the title ). recently though, piper had been able to slip a bit further into the normal life she'd always craved. selling p3, opening her very own restaurant, being a mother, that was her focus. of course the magical world would rear its ugly head once and a while, and this was no different apparently. piper did not want to be in this tiny town, but duty called. ❛ it gives me the creeps, little towns like this. too many eyes everywhere, ❜ a soft shudder slipping through her to emphasize her point.

"I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT A SMALL TOWN WOULD BE LIKE," but now that they were actually in one? She couldn't seem to shake the feeling in the pit of her stomach... ALTHOUGH THAT'S PROBABLY SOMETHING DIFFERENT ENTIRELY. "but I get what you're saying. I keep expecting a vision that won't come." Even when she had lived in China, she lived in the city, finding it easier to blend in better. There were too many eyes but they weren't looking at her rather looking at everything else. "There are a lot of emotions here and I'm having a hard time drowning out the ones that aren't helpful."

SHE FELT SO TIRED THAT THE WORLD WOBBLED AROUND HER. Why? For one thing, she wasn't the great super witch she once was, choosing to hang up the mantle of a Charmed One once the threats idled and eventually somewhat died down. She had a daughter, a husband and job to do that seemed more pressing... and now she felt like shit for even trying to have a life outside of her sisters' fate of CHARMED ONES. Go figure, right? She wanted to go home and cuddle her husband and daughter yet she knew she couldn't. "This place is sucking the life out of me, Piper. Are you doing okay?" Because if she felt this way, she knew her sisters would be missing their husbands and children just as much.

IT WAS BRAIN FOG REALLY. One moment she was paying attention to those coming and going from the grill and the next, she's in emotions. Not her own but rather everyone around her. ALL SHE COULD REALLY DO WAS RIDE THE WAVE OF THEM ⸼ absentmindedly dipping the tea bag in her cup, originally ordered to help her indigestion but only became a lazy tool to fidget with until her eyes registered someone approaching, maybe not to talk to her but Phoebe couldn't help herself. "What's a better word for warmhearted?"

from what connor had heard, mystic falls was a relatively quiet town. why there was now this attraction of the supernatural -- this weird beacon, it was a mystery. not inheritably evil but caution was advised all the same and so it was caution he would take. okay, so best not to skirt around it. the part of him with fake memories ( and sanity, quite frankly ) hoped he didn't sound like a crazy person as he asked. "i've heard some weird shit happens in mystic falls." not his best base line, and it was not really the truth because the lack of weird happening was what brought him here. if she was a local, however, her reaction would dictate a lot more answers then any words would. "is that true?"

IT CAME IN WAVES MOSTLY, a strong sense of emotions she knew weren't her own. While they were strangers, Phoebe got a strong sense of curiosity from him that he can only be aware of the truth around them. "Yeah, you're right." Phoebe admitted with a nod before patting the chair next to her. "I'll tell you what I know if you tell me what you know. I might even buy you a sandwich if you want but that's because I'm hungry, not because I want anything else from you, I promise."

he didn't make a habit of doing favor's for angel. not of any malice, really, with the hard reset there wasn't too much malice left in him. but more so cause angel so seldom asked. in fact, even getting coffee with his birth father made suspicion arise in connor. the town called mystic falls that had some strange activity, angel said to just check it out and not take any action. connor had yet to decide if he would actually listen. "you didn't hear me," or they were deliberately ignoring the question and that would cause connor to take a different line of questioning if so. "have you seen or heard of anything... " crap, he wasn't a detective. what was the smooth way to ask with the normals? oh fuck it, no one knew him here. "... out of this world? weird? maybe something you thought you imagined? something unnatural?"

SHE'D BEEN TYPING AWAY AT THE ARTICLE SHE'D BE STRUGGLING WITH only to find herself still distracted. Coop had the girls but that didn't mean the world stopped turning while she was writing. The voice finally broke through her thoughts and Phoebe looked at him with confusion, "Whoa buddy, just ask me what you want to ask me. What do you know?" she wondered, curious as to what she should reveal if anything.

She shouldn't be here. Just being back in this place and time that she had lived through felt wrong, but Caroline had business to take care of. Hope and the Halliwells needed her help and that was the only reason that she would risk her position in this world to return to the time of her life that had been the rockiest of her existence. The blonde had avoided anyone that might question her too much and that included her own mother. Every cell in her immortal frame wished for the chance to see the people she had loved, temptation sometimes overruling reason. So she wandered too close to her old stomping grounds, smiling to herself as she walked. "I forgot how much I loved it like this."

SAN FRANCISCO WAS FAR FROM A SMALL TOWN and in some aspects, Phoebe hated that even though she grew up there. When she finally had the babies she had envisioned, she wondered if they should move -- the cupid realm wasn't exactly small either, and moving from her sisters never worked out in such a way that any of them expected. Across the city was mighty different than across the country or a few hours away. She loved feeling what the other felt, however, admiring a town that wasn't home just a little bit more. "You know it would be okay if you went home, right? At least for a visit."
