SHE FELT SO TIRED THAT THE WORLD WOBBLED AROUND HER. Why? For one thing, she wasn't the great super witch she once was, choosing to hang up the mantle of a Charmed One once the threats idled and eventually somewhat died down. She had a daughter, a husband and job to do that seemed more pressing... and now she felt like shit for even trying to have a life outside of her sisters' fate of CHARMED ONES. Go figure, right? She wanted to go home and cuddle her husband and daughter yet she knew she couldn't. "This place is sucking the life out of me, Piper. Are you doing okay?" Because if she felt this way, she knew her sisters would be missing their husbands and children just as much.

dinner parties were not gabriel’s idea of a fun time. his overly rich and entitled parents always demanded he be present though, even if he sat in the corner looking like a grump, leather wearing, criminal looking to murder someone. of course he didn’t pay attention to any of the people interacting with each other, not really caring about the politics of the rich and bored to try and pretend he cared about any of them. usually he would have been half drunk by now but his attention was elsewhere, namely his baby sister piper strutting around in the shortest cocktail dress she could scrounge up and talking to literally everyone as if she liked any of them. it was all a game to her obviously because his eyes met her multiple times and eventually he’d decided he’d had enough. with a sigh he got up, setting his bourbon on some old table with food on it and all but stomped over to her, people parting the way like the red sea. eventually he reached her a calloused hand wrapped around her dainty wrist tightly like chains, making it clear he wanted no argument. “we need to talk. alone.” he says, voice menacing as he glared at the nearly fifty year old man looking at piper like she was everything he could have imagined up in his dirtiest fantasies.
