ofrileyisms:
sheâd been looking through stacks of newspaper articles completely focused on correcting each and every mistake she stumbled upon. â how were some of these people her peers? â lacking basic writing skills surely meant that her classmates shouldnât in fact be well seniors or even a sophomore for that matter ; it was pathetic. hazel eyes narrowed as an irritated huff left her lips only to jump slightly as she heard a familiar voice the prominent blush that often settled on her cheeks when the brunette was around rising once more. ruffling her hair, riley surveyed the girl in front of her for a second forgetting that she wanted a reply. but god was she pretty, could anyone really blame her? â who? â she awkwardly mumbled before ruffling her bright red curls and shaking her head. â not at all. something about her good for nothing freshmen, and her crush on the swim team instructor. nothing of too much importance. â
âWrong question Riles, more like what?â Hallie said with a small chuckle before turning her own attention back to her own papers, sifting through them quickly and gathering the ones that she didnât need at the moment so she could place them in her bag instead. âChrist, so much for teachers distancing their personal lives. Thanks anyways,â She said with a small smile refocusing her attention on the redhead, sometimes she worried sheâd focus on her too long and itâd become awkward -what with the staring and admiration in her eyes when she did so, it was better to just look at her for a few brief seconds instead of letting her take up too much space in her mind. âKnew I picked you for a reason.â The brunette said clearing her throat.
