Going team tragedy caused my favorite thing to say is "This looks like a goddamn Greek tragedy"

I know I said I wasn't gonna do artfight this year (due to several reasons), but after seeing how many friends/moots were gonna give it a try this year, I figured I'd give her one last try cause man, I could use a bit of fun/making peeps smile due to how crazy life has been.

Hopefully, July is a relaxed, fun month, considering the past 6 have been crazy for me. I'd really like a year where I don't get crazy burnout from work.

Last year was very, very bad for me, burnout-wise, due to a personal family issue that took me out of the fight like 2 days in. I'd like to make up for that.

Another next-gen design update for another updated pairing. Turning my Fluttercora ship into a poly ship between Zecora, Fluttershy, and Discord.

Talent: Cure all potion making

Brews potions that can cure any natural illness or even magical curses! Or perhaps even bestow curses should she be feeling mischievous.

History:

Perplexa is the youngest of her siblings, and as a result the most mischievous. Perhaps it was due to her age or perhaps it was due to her being a bit of a daddy's girl! After all being the daughter of a being of chaos why shouldn't she enjoy stirring a little herself? Thanks to her birthmother's influence Perplexa developed quite the knack for potion brewing, and she'd spend hours helping her mother mix various elixirs and cure-alls for the creature that came to their home for a fix. Though if the quest was rude...well, Perplexa would brew in a lil trick as a punishment for poor manners. Perplexa had such a natural talent in potion brewing that she even manifested a cutie mark due to it! How odd, considering that neither of her birth parents were traditional ponies, but maybe it was her other mother and the magic of Equestria's influence that led to the manifestation.

Was hit by the bug to redraw some ponies and decided to redesign Twilight for my NG AU Hallowverse cause despite the fact it's been years, I'm still pissed they made her a tia recolor. And I adore how she came out!

I made the prototype for this design on Ponytown, where I could play with colors and forms a lot more efficiently than diving feet first into the drawing process. I also included a speedpaint of this piece as well!

Also, man I found an old folder of my old ass MLP NG Art and it got me super nostalgic, so as something to wind down and relax by doodling now that i finally have time off, I updated some of my ocs designs. And man the differences are night and day its crazy how much my artstyle changed in the last 8 years.
