To All The Wonderful and Faithful Hallyu8ers,

We unfortunately and regrettably must announce that Hallyu8.com is no longer operational. This may come as a shock to you all, as much as it was to us. However, the news is true and the forums will be shut down indefinitely. At the moment, we do have back-ups to all the threads; however, it was the decision of upper authorities to discontinue the website. Thank you for being with us over this last year, and we cannot begin to express how thankful we are of your continual patronage and support. Hallyu8 really was one of the shining examples of what a true and enthusiastic Asian Entertainment community is, and we hope that anyone who takes upon future endeavors to continue its spirit forward. Again, thank you so much for all your support and we are extremely apologetic for the sudden decline.

Junior Moderator Application

We are currently looking for level-headed and mature individuals to join our staff team.

Junior Moderators Unlike the past, we will be hiring for a new position known as, "Junior Moderators." Junior Moderators will have much of the same responsibilities as current Moderators; however, they will be ushered through a training period before being given full moderator powers. Once they are properly acclimated to their new role and proven their aptitude to manage the forum, they will be promoted to full Moderator status. If a previously retired Hallyu8 Moderator re-applies and is accepted, they will not have to go through the JM process as they have already proven themselves as capable moderators and fulfilled the necessary training expected of them. Your responsibilities as Junior Moderators will included, but are not limited to:

Moderating specific sections of the forum

Assisting the community and users

Awarding and De-Awarding Badges

Issuing warnings and answering reports

Helping with Events
