"I am Hammam Salemdawood, and this is my sister banan. We study at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, in medical school. I am in my third year, and my sister is in his second year.

We used to aspire to become doctors 🥼and help our people, to be influential in the community's health sector. However, with the onset of this destruction, we lost everything in our lives. Our home🏡 was completely destroyed, and our parents lost all sources of income.

Our studies came to a halt. Despite the dangerous circumstances surrounding us, we remained steadfast and showed resilience and our love for helping others by assisting the doctors at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza.

We are hoping to continue our studies Gaza to fulfil our dream of helping brotherbrother community. It is so hard for us to leave our family in this situation but every dream has a price. However, that is not our only problem. Leaving Gaza requires 5000$ for each person and 5000$ more for tuition and my parents can’t afford all that money.

Our only hope is your assistance, and with utmost humility, we request it, but there is no longer any chance of survival."

According to my experience as a displaced person for the seventh time, the scenes of displacement resemble the scenes of the Day of Resurrection. We flee our homes, built with a lifetime of hard work and sacrifice, only to leave everything behind. We walk on foot as bombs fall around us, surrounding us from all sides. We sit in the streets, our hearts heavy with uncertainty, not knowing what to do or where to go.😮‍💨😞

But this time, the future seems more hopeless than ever. There is no clear path ahead without your support. Our education, our dreams, and our chance at a better future are slipping away. With every passing day, we lose a part of our humanity, buried under the rubble of Gaza, lost amidst the chaos. The world seems to forget that behind every statistic is a soul, a life with dreams and aspirations, just like yours.💔

We politely ask you😊, please don't stop supporting us. Your kindness is the only light in this darkness, the only hope for us to rebuild what was shattered and reclaim our lost humanity.
