LGBTQ+ Fiction

As a writer and a member of the lgbtq community I really think there should be more lgbtq+ fiction so I’ve decided to conduct some research and ask everyone who reads this to leave an opinion about what type of lgbtq stories/characters/concepts/messages they feel are lacking.

Coming out stories? Stories about someone realising they’re gay? Breaking stereotypes? More and better asexuals? What else? Just let me know what you think. Also what kind of plots and story lines do you think would work? Also is there anything else you want to add?

Writing prompt!

Two people are taking a photo of the same thing from different angles and get each other in the photos. While looking at their photos later they see the other person in the picture and really want to meet them.

Things that helped me when I couldn’t write or didn’t know what to write

This weekend I very nearly gave up on the book I’m writing even though I’m nearly finished. I didn’t want to give up on the characters I’d worked so hard on but the story just wasn’t working out anymore. So here’s what I did:

Cut out everything you wrote at the time when you weren’t inspired

Write something that would make a lot of people or just one person you really don’t like angry even yourself if you want

Write something erotic if you know what I mean ;)

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting my blog. I plan to post helpful tips and advice about how to write better stories. I’m currently writing a book at the moment and I’ve found a lot of really helpful advice about creating better characters and plots, improving writing styles, curing writers block, how to start, things to avoid etc. so I will post that as soon as possible and if you want to ask me something I’d love to help you.
