Also to make up for my not posting the Halloween poem and illustration that I said I would, in the meantime here’s a spooky pattern that you can use for a background to things.

Everyday Middle East on facebook posted a photograph of a beautiful little Syrian girl named Rawaa dressed as Frida at a settlement in Gaza.

I loved the photo so I tried to do her portrait in Ms Paint

I’m actually terrified of both roosters, ducks, and chickens alike, but I can still admire their beauty from afar. Very far. Preferably with some sort of metal barrier sitting between us.

Is it jumper weather yet? I was going to make a photoset of different jumpers but it’s almost 3 in the morning and I got sleepy.

This is Beano, a kitty who was once so frightened of potentially crossing paths with cats bigger than him that he never left the house. Not even to chase butterflies. He loved chasing butterflies.

Luckily for Beano, his new, jumper-knitting owner had an idea and fashioned him a faux lions mane out of purple wool, his favourite colour.

With his newfound confidence he’s able to go outside and chase butterflies once again, hooray!
