Easing tension after Sumire joined the club
wow they really dialed up the gay this week huh
if i saw that many hot lesbians in one place i'd react the same way
This scene broke my heart, the silent crying scenes always get me.
the tradition continues
Because what’s better than this, gals being pals
So, apparently people dropped Kageki Shojo after one episode because they didn't like how Ai-chan was a "I Hate Men" character, rather than taking a few seconds to think critically about WHY a 15 year-old former JPop Idol might hate men? But who still clearly has a lot of love and respect for her male uncle? So you know, #NotAllMen ?
And when you find out in Episode 3 WHY she's so uncomfortable around men, and feels most at home at an All Girls' school with the aim to work at an All Girls' theatre... I mean. Damn. VALID trauma response! Because yeah, this kid is still dealing with a LOT of PTSD and whilst her uncle is amazing, she was still not given the overall support network she needed.
I feel like SO many people are sleeping on this series, it's so so SO good! And if you want something to fill the Fruits Basket shaped hole in your life about overcoming trauma by being brave enough to reach out your hand... then this is absolutely the show for you.
The show does have current Trigger Warnings for Molesting (Ep. 3) and Bullemia (Ep. 5) but these topics are really well handled IMO.
After watching Bloom Into You, Revue Starlight, and now Aquatope, I've come to the conclusion aquariums are for wlw.
Me at the start of Aquatope: Man, I hope this show is gay, but it’s probably just gonna be about a Very Good Friendship between two girls, and I guess I’m okay with that.
Me after the most recent episode of Aquatope: Alright, this show is either gay or baiting harder than any anime since Hibike Euphonium.
i cant say it loudly enough WATCH AQUATOPE!!!!!
your honor, they’re in love
