DVA: Rise Peer Feedback
I like how artsy your video is Christopher, along with how different it is from the others that people made including my own. There is no dialogue and you are left to look at your video like you would a painting or a photograph. You have to depict your own thoughts about this girl, someone is not feeding you her story. You are forced to come up with her story on your own. I don’t know if that is what you meant to have happen with this piece? for this to be more of a mind opening piece or not? this is how I depicted this piece though like a work of art instead of a mini story. What I can suggest from what I can take from this is that your model is a very beautiful, fun, and spunky girl. I would of highlighted that more, maybe something more organic? Less staged and more of a natural habitat kind of thing. Overall though I think this piece is great! the black and white is simple and the piece leaves you wondering what this girls story is. It is like a piece of art thats moving, that gives you more ideas then one frame.
