Please, I know this may be annoying and not what you’re looking for, but please do consider reading all of this. <3

I know what you guys are probably thinking: “Another text post? Really? Where are my captions at?!”

But uhhh I’ve been doing some thinking recently and have been weighing some options and ideas about certain things I can do going forward.

I’ve been doing these captions on and off for about... 5 years now? I started sometime in 2017, inspired by people like orangeorc, growthcaptionsfornoone, dimbulb, stewie, and all those other greats you may or may not have heard about. But in all that time, I’ve done it completely for free, and have seen others monetize their blogs.

Buuuuut I recently moved several states and am in between jobs so this situation has got me thinking maybe I should consider that for myself.

Effective immediately I have opened a kofi. You guys can donate however much you want, but please take care of yourselves first. Any and all kofis are greatly appreciated and are a huge help as I look for work.

I am also thinking of making a Patreon, but I’m not entirely sure how I’d go about doing it. This would certainly cause me to have a drive and requirement to post more often. I could probably do the usual stuff of having a set posting schedule (twice per week?) and people who are patrons get to see them earlier? Or maybe exclusive posts? I could also make a Discord but like... every size artist has a Discord these days so... I don’t exactly see the point.

Lastly, I’m considering opening commissions as well, but have no idea how the pricing would work. I know some story artists do $.01 (1 cent) per word? I could do that maybe? You guys could supply an image or an idea or both and I could create a caption/story out of them? Obviously it would have to be within the realm of what I dabble in but... I suppose for a little extra I’d be willing to dabble into like... feet maybe idk.

But yeah that about sums up what I wanted to say, I apologize for the lack of content recently, and for spamming with these text posts. Please leave any and all advice, criticism, comments, whatever! Feel free to suggest anything, tell me to fuck off, ask for a commission, anything like that.
