What was lost /@tenderizingtwo
Try as he might to deny it, there was really only one thing that had been on his mind since he woke up here. It was true that he was curious about the nature of this city and its scientists. About how it was that not only he, but the other intoners had been revived as well. It was only natural considering his circumstances, right? But more than any of that he was concerned with finding one specific person. Whether he had the right to confront her or not.
He listened to the whispers of the city for any leads that would allow him to find her. Anything that could describe her appearance or personality. She was such a lively and eccentric person that it was almost impossible to mistake her for anyone else. Gradually he began to piece together all that he had managed to hear, especially rumors concerning women with regenerative abilities reminiscent of the Intoners. And in a stroke of luck, he finally found her.
He had to confirm it with his own eyes, even after having run into Three. To be sure that she really was alive and here in this city. Just like before he questioned himself as to how this was possible, but the thought was quickly discarded. Did it matter how? Of course not. She was there Two was standing right there, with that same radiant smile she so often displayed. Did she notice him? He wasn't sure. But regardless, the Apostle swiftly lowered himself to one knee and cast his gaze to the floor.
"Two-sama..."
He didn't say too much. Not yet. And he knew all too well she disliked being called that by him. But in this case, he felt as though he had lost te right to simply refer to her as Two. After all, he'd failed his duty to protect her.
