I’m normally not one to post about this sort of stuff but there is some news regarding the situation surrounding the Lost Boys. I didn’t want to throw my hat into the ring, but here we go.

I know that some people are choosing to pause their love for the musical which is understandable, but I will continue to support it simply for the sake of the actors involved. They have put time, effort, and sweat into this beautiful piece and deserve the applause, the cheers, and all the love that is being thrown their way.

But let me make one thing abundantly clear.

I DO NOT TRUST THAT SWEATY DRAMA ‘INFLUENCER’.

There are some sources that have been coming and claiming that this did not happen. Again, this may be hearsay, but I prefer to remain optimistic regarding the situation.

Additionally, this sweaty guy is just vile on most days. Keep in mind, while The Lost Boys Musical was still in previews, he said THIS.

Anyone who would actively threaten something like this simply because they didn't like a Broadway musical absolutely sickens me. Yes, the issue surrounding GM is concerning and I absolutely do not abide by that shit, but the rest of the cast DO NOT and SHOULD NOT be dragged into this same issue with them.

Anyone who would willingly call for harm like this DOES NOT deserve any sort of platform.

Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

I believe it’s parents choosing a gender for their intersex baby by having surgery performed to give them the most “normal” genitals possible. It’s non-consensual. The person with the genitals did not consent to that. They had their personhood violated.

Sometimes a child is born with doctors describe as “ambiguous genitalia” that they do surgery on to make things more clear for the new parent and easier to care for. Intersex people who realized they were intersex later in life usually feel as if this is a violation, and would’ve rather have been left intact and untouched.

From the information I gathered in college, not necessarily? At first it might cause issues with cleaning which is a similar reason as to why circumcision is done.

However depending on the cause/seriousness , it may necessary to give the child HRT or corrective surgery in the future. The main one's resolve around the child's potential fertility or puberty issues outside of questioning their own identity when they're old enough.
