generally i’m OBSESSED and i do love it so much but also i just wish it wasn’t as…like Polished?? as it is if that makes sense??? like this cast has INSANE vocals and incredible unique voices and it feels like the album may be trying to make it sound too like Clean and Broadway and less like a rock musical. like the live vocals are CRAZYYYYYYY and sometimes i think the recording doesn’t let that shine as much as it could

#however i am also a gritty gal #like i personally love rock musicals bc i love the genre obviously #but also bc it’s what i feel like i sound best on #so i’m like. let them have their uniqueness.
