hi hey hello!! there is so much hankisa brainrot in my head so you get some bc idk where else to put it and i need to talk abt it okay
i keep thinking abt the bad toman timeline(s) (mostly the one at the end of the anime, but also the other ones before that) and like. at this point i’ve established that hankisa are fwbs and hanma is in love. he thinks that kisaki doesn’t love him back but he’s wrong, kisaki just can’t admit to himself that he doesn’t love hina anymore and his fixation on her & takemichi doesn’t have a reason now. and he’d also never ever admit anything, especially not before hanma, and hanma never says anything in fear of kisaki disliking him after he does so (even though he’s known for years but hanma doesn’t know that he knows 😭)
anyways point is one day kisaki has a near-death experience and when he’s finally alone with hanma they cuddle a bit bc both need to cope with the shock. hanma randomly blurts out ,,i love you’’ and kisaki just nods. they ignore it. well later on hanma once again teasingly goes ,,you really do love me, huh?’’ bc ik that he says that 24/7 just to annoy kisaki and instead of insisting that no, he doesn’t, kisaki keeps quiet. it throws hanma off so badly that he believes he just didn’t hear him so he says it again, this time looking at his face. there is a very faint smile on kisaki’s lips, and he still keeps quiet, not denying it.
i’m convinced that hanma doesn’t get more of a love confession in that timeline but he’s so happy he starts crying later when trying to fall asleep anyway because he knows kisaki enough to know that it’s his way of confessing his love and the fact that he loves him back is reason enough
Real time reaction: I just woke up to this (this is the first ask I ever received) and had to read it twice without glasses. Let me just get them so I can confirm I'm not just dreaming.
Update: I found my glasses half an hour later (I nearly stepped on it), so let me read this all again.
