This was my trip to New York the summer before freshman year. This trip was so cool. I had never experienced that fast paced of an environment. New York was full of life, everyone had somewhere to be. While we were there we went to Grand Central Station, Times Square, 911 memorial, Statue of Liberty, and went on a dinner yacht. This trip was so much fun and full of different adventures. New York is a place where someone needs to go at least once in their lives to experience the energy it has, and who doesn't want one of those I heart New York shirts ;)

These pictures were taken in Sedona Arizona. I loved this day of our trip because we got to hike, shop, and found a beautiful church that was in a mountain. When I first heard my parents were planning on hiking was when we arrived at the mountain and they told me we are going to hike to the church. WIsh they told me earlier I would not have worn my berks otherwise. The church was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. After we hiked that we went shopping and just got to look around the town and it was beautiful. If you ever get the chance to go to Sedona Arizona it is beautiful.

Early last year me and the editors of the yearbook went to Anaheim California for a journalism convention, I know sounds lame, but I had so much fun. On this trip not much yearbooking happened. We walked around Downtown Disney, drove to Huntington Beach, and spent a lot of time by the hotel pool. This trip was so fun because I got to spend time with friends, and became closer to other people. I wish I could go back to that weekend all the time! This was definitely an amazing adventure that I got to share with my friends!

This adventure is not as action filled as my others, but this is definitely an adventure I wish I could go back to! During my eighth grade year my whole class went to Washington DC for a few days. It was so much fun spending time with my friends and classmates in DC. We visited memorials, and statues, and had so much fun. Every year when the current eight graders go I get so jealous and look back at all the memories I made on that trip. If your school has an opportunity to do something like this do it!

A couple years ago me and my sister begged my mom to let us go jet skiing while on spring break in St. Thomas. Surprisingly she said yes. My mom and I were on a jet ski and my sister got her own jet ski. We were out for about an hour and it was so fun! We were out in the middle of the ocean flying on jet skis. When I would speed up my mom would start to scream and pull on my life jacket, which little did she know was pulling me back and causing me to go faster. The speed was controlled by a little lever that was on the handle, so when she pulled on me the lever would get pulled all the way back. Jet skiing is such a thrill and it is good because it is something that's not scary! I highly suggest jet skiing it is so much fun!

One thing my family loves to do is go snorkeling. We have gone probably close to ten times. We love the water! Snorkeling is so much fun because you not only are in the ocean but you get to see beautiful sea creatures. I have seen turtles, stingrays, many fish,and once even a small octopus. I love looking at the turtles the most because they are one of my favorite animals. I think people should experience snorkeling because it's like a different world underwater and it's so cool to experience.

Over the summer my family went ziplining. This was not the first time we went we had gone many years ago when we were in St. Lucia while on a cruise. This time I was big enough to be able to hold onto the cable. In St.Lucia I couldn’t reach the cable so I had to keep my hands by my side. On one course the person was not paying attention and grabbed me too late.. I hit the tree. But this time I could control when I stopped and it was amazing! It was so fun to fly through the beautiful landscape of Minnesota. Zipline is such a thrill and I would recommend to everyone, even if they are scared, because it is so worth it!

This is by far the coolest experience of my life! This is Ifly, here you  can indoor sky dive. It was one of the weirdest feelings. So basically this is a giant wind tunnel and the wind is coming from everywhere! To get into the tube you had to stand on the edge in the doorway and then just fall forward. It took me a little bit to get used to it and gain control of my body. I may have run into the side a couple times. The best part of this was when I got to fly up to the top of the tube it felt like I was really flying! This was an amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn how flying squirrels feel ;)

Hi guys! This is my first post so I wanted to start with my favorite adventure! This is parasaling, this is where you are tie into a harness and there is a giant parachute connected. You sit on the back of a boat and as the boat speeds up the wind takes the parachute and you get pulled into the air.  You can go as high as 50 feet above the water. I have done this three times and would do it agian. It is so cool to be so high and look at the beautiful view. I would reccomend this to anyone who is not afraid of heights!
