As part of the BBC’s 100 Women project I was commisioned to create l portraits of women being added to wikipedia live, in a worldwide wiki-edit-a-thon. I was also asked to illustrate the ident for the BBC Homepage.
In 2014 I devised, produced and presented a podcast ‘Feed Your Fem’ for UoN Feminists and Nottingham’s Student Radio Station URN (Winner of Best student radio station 2014). I coordinated a large group of volunteers to create Feed Your Fem and my branding was featured on ITV news in a segment on student feminism. This year I have designed the logo for Hollaback!, the international campaign against street harassment’s Nottingham branch.
I was also commissioned to create the campaign material for Nottingham University’s first out Student Union Presidential candidate, Jack Benjamin Salter.
At university I was the Branding Manager for UoN Feminists producing their logo, fine art illustrations and branding packages for each campaign and event.
I worked with a group of people to design a logo that would be fitting for the fundamental ideas behind the grassroots group, namely feminism and intersectionality.
I also acted as Graphic Editor for our collaborative zine and as a designer for the University’s production of the Vagina Monologues.
I am a freelance illustrator producing fine art portraits as well as branding, logos and event posters. These were created on Photoshop and Illustrator.
