First day of fall semester is underway! I only had one class today, but my schedule is still filled up with thesis work and my side job as a research assistant. This is my virtual learning setup which includes a small ring light that is out of frame and a very delicious lunch

Really really happy because I had a productive day (in my standards). Honestly ever since sophomore year started, I have just been slacking and been unmotivated and felt like I lost my sense of “drive” or “purpose.” I think it’s called the sophomore slump??

Late night thoughts #1

Tonight has been keeping me up because I feel like I haven't done enough. When I think about what I want in life and what I want to be, I realise how far that goal is and how much I hate my current state.

I know that everything takes time and I have to take things one step at a time, but some parts of me still doesn't think I'm ever going to reach it.

I feel so stagnant and I don't know how to move faster.
