#7: Grace Ling

As Rose Castorini might have said, the things I don’t know are a lot. Latest example: Until I did my research I had no idea Grace Ling’s windswept look, inspired by Dali’s The Persistence of Memory, was designed by… Grace Ling. One of the younger independent designers at the Met Gala this year, she wrote of her look: “The windswept thorns piece is 3D printed in Aero-Aluminium and plated in Platinum.”

It’s amazing. I hope she didn’t hurt herself wearing it.
