yeah no i just wasnt sure if you'd heard about it! i don't even watch sunrise anymore, kochie is so sexist and awful i can't stand it :( but yeah definitely, i agree with what you said

I have and even have use the original champagne glass for a photo reference when I was doing my diploma of fine arts. I just feel I am far too uneducated for the matter. I never watched it, I only caught 45 minutes of Sunrise this morning because I ate breakfast with mum in the kitchen after my early GYM session and before she headed off to work. I can't believe this is what Australia classes as a proper new show, let alone this to be a note worthy news story without even providing an educated unbias opinion on the real issues (i.e. racism etc)

i agree with you on that sunrise thing but you should look up the history of that photograph and why it's racist. i know sunrise wasnt talking about that, they were just being shitty as usual but there's also a very real problem with that photo. the photographer is racist and i always stick up for kim but she's pretty clueless about social issues tbh. thegrio. com/ 2014/11/12/ kim-kardashian-butt/

I avoided that issue in my rant because I am not nearly educated enough on the matter to comment on it and also the fact that the issue of racism wasn't mentioned in the Sunrise segment (they probably don't even realise the bigger issue of this photo other than the fact it contains a nude lady), I am sorry if I have offended with this rant by not mentioning it and I am in not way disregarding those issues, just letting someone more educated on the matter to comment. My anger stemmed from this so called "repatriable" new source slut shamming and body shamming on national TV, and they wonder why they have to run a story about "owning your bikini" and the comments teenagers make when its the norm to see their elders make them on air on a so called news program. 

I am sorry if this doesn't make any sense, because I am in somewhat of a hurry to get ready for work, but please I am always open for discussion and even education/different opinions. So please hit me up off anon.

Sunrise, you've done it again. You should really keep your presenters scripted. Because of they're not, they slip into body shaming and slut shaming antics. Now I realize we've seen this before with Kochi 's Angels and the female shaming that occurred with females and tattoos but going as far as scoffing at the concept that a nude shoot would make Kim Kardashian feel more confident about her post bub body, how would you even know, have you ever popped out a baby Kochie? Just because you run one segment today about 'owning your bikini' does not, under ANY circumstance, give you the right to make comments like: "Obviously photo shopped... just quietly". Or "Kim's not wearing much but we are, thankfully, because we're ladies". So just because she's not wearing any clothes does that make her any less lady like or less feminine? Instead of criticizing her, why not congratulate her and praise her for doing such a shoot? Celebrate the fact that it's rare for a girl in this day and age to actually feel confident about her body, especially after having a kid. Just because it's "not your cup if tea" does not make you judgemental and snide comments right. /end rant
