Our cat Mister went missing a couple weeks ago. Our mom isn’t too hopeful about us finding him, and I’m really not sure either. I have no idea if this is going to help.

Mister is very friendly and loves attention and snuggling with people. He sheds a lot and likes to talk. He usually responds to him name, but I’m not sure how responsive he’ll be to strangers calling him. He should still approach though.

Our local vet and local shelter are aware and have posters of him up in their buildings. Since we know the employees at our local GameStop really well they agreed to take a poster as well. Maybe we’ll get lucky. I don’t know.

Not only that, but if you notice at the beginning, the cat *gets the man’s attention* as any person who wanted to talk to a deaf/hoh individual would (well, and vice versa IME). I’ve done sign since I was 5, and generally, w/o eye contact initially, you wave a hand or lightly touch the arm (if that’s ok with the person you’re trying to converse with, of course). Generally, adult cats meow mostly to humans, but this cat has figured out that’s not going to work and has adapted. Animal companions! They are INCREDIBLE.
