With no further ado, today’s prompt is:

Day 1: Poisonous

There’s a twist this year, though:

That’s right, I’m making an animation by hand! Since I’ve started working as an animator and this month will be the end of my first year in the area, I decided to die in a painful way use that to challenge myself further! And yeaaah... this all is for day 1 only.

And that’s it! With inktober I’m ending this little story!

This year’s inktober was a little project of mine made in the spur of the moment. I hadn’t even decided what the ending would be like until well into the second half of october. While I would and will clarify anything that people want to know and ask about the narrative, my initial intention was to make a purely visual book out of these illustrations. Now I’m sure I thought more backstory than what could ever be guessed from looking at them alone, but at the same time I don’t like to talk too much of my own stories; but specially in this case, I don’t feel like it’s my place to tell every little bit of lore of this story or even understimate my ”readers” by explaining every little thing.

As I went and drew in ridiculously huge papers, it was impossible to scan they all and had to make do with low quality photos, and for that I’m sorry. But most of all I’m grateful for everyone who interacted with the posts, it made me really happy to see people engaging with an original story of mine!

For now, I’ll wrap it up and find editors nterested in publishing this project of mine as a book. To change the pace a bit, I’ll try to catch up with Nanowrimo by getting back to the story I started in last year’s nanowrimo (this one might turn into a book, or a comics. Who knows.)
