hi I was just wondering if your patreon is still up and running? i had to unsub bc financial troubles but im heading back to work next week (hopefully) and i wanted to know if that was still going or if you prefer using ko-fi now or anything idk? love your work and want to be more supportive where I can

To be completely honest? I'm not sure. I heard some disturbing rumors/allegations about Patreon, so my account is in a short of limbo where I occasionally upload there. My Googlefoo is lacking, so I can't find concrete evidence one way or another on the subject.

Whereas my Ko-Fi was more of a backup to Patreon until recently. While I like the interface for Patreon, Ko-Fi does make commission transactions very easy for everyone involved.

Long story short, Ko-Fi is probably the best answer for the moment and I cannot express my gratitude for any and all support you and everyone else offer to me. It means the world to me and really just clubs bad brain days over the head.

Since I already gave a description for @stevieraebarnes previous ask, I'll give you a snippet as long as you keep in mind that it is not beta read in the least.

The door creaks slightly as it opens, revealing a petite blond woman sitting comfortably behind a large oak desk. She has her boots propped up on the desk as she’s reclined lazily in a large leather chair, hands resting on her stomach with her fingers intertwined together. Everything about her posture says she’s comfortable and completely unconcerned about Bucky’s arrival, but he’s been too well trained to be fooled. He can see the tightness around her eyes and the tense set of her shoulders as he steps in. “So you’re the one Natalia sent?” She asks with a slight accent. Her voice has a strained quality to it, as though she’d recently lost her voice and hadn’t quite recovered. Bucky nods and takes the seat opposite her. “I’m Yelena,” she tells him as she takes her feet down and turns her seat to face him and rests her elbows on the desk instead. “What did Natalia tell you about this job?” “Not much,” Bucky replies softly, “Just that there were murmurs of bad things happening around here.” There’s a brief pause that meets his words and then Yelena is laughing. It’s an infectious sort of thing that has the corners of Bucky’s mouth threatening to pull up in a grin to match. “That sounds like her; so clandestine and mysterious.” Bucky doesn’t bother to reply, just bobs his head in a quick nod. “What can you tell me then?” “You’re aware that this is one of the less tourist friendly districts in the area,” Yelena says, more of a statement than a question. Bucky nods, wanting her to get on with it. “It’s run by, let’s say, a sort of council of like-minded business owners. While none of them particularly care for one another, they all realize that it’s in their best interest to protect their customers and assets.” The hackles on the back of Bucky’s neck rise at her last word. These are tourists and workers— people— not assets for business owners to claim they’re talking about.

Yes! This is the one I wanted someone to ask about, so thank you. This one is mostly (if not all) Bucky POV multi-chapter adventure. Let's see if I can sum it up without giving too much away. After being hired to look into a sudden increase in abductions in Macedonia, Bucky meets not one, but two frustratingly interesting men. One remains a mystery that he can't stop thinking about, and the other pretty much just pisses him off by existing. Between the three of them they should be able to figure out who's behind it all and put a stop to it. Right?
