I forgot how taxing the October Art Challenges were, but I’ve awaken yet again to show off my pride, Basil. Loosely twisted from Basil, the Great Mouse Detective. 🥰

Basil is the protegee of a great detective. Some call her nosey, but she’d say a dose of curiosity is what every growing mind needs. And her curiosity drives her to learn whatever interesting thing she can. When she’s not in class, you can find her buzzing around the library going from section to section, subject to subject, going down a rabbit-hole that might have started with something that caught her attention in her textbook. 

While she’ll soak up any knowledge she can about subjects she likes, anything that doesn’t strike her interest, gets neglected. Her abysmal scores in Literature and Art can attest to that. She has no patience doing things she doesn’t want to do.  

When it comes to relationships, she comes off as friendly. She enjoys observing people, which makes her quite the listener. Being naturally curious, she’ll become invested in your story, but she rarely finds anyone she can take off her armor for. That’s why she enjoys people who make their intentions known. Whether it’s people who are simply nice or simply assholes.

TWISTober Day 6 - A Character I Relate To

Now....hear me out. I don’t relate that much to any of the characters in Twisted Wonderland. There are qualities I relate with and such, but I wouldn’t say that I’d relate to any of the characters as a whole.

BUT I do have a lot in common with Floyd, the biggest being that I get bored super easily, and I will be very unhappy if I’m forced into doing whatever makes me bored, but if I’m interested in it, I become ultra focused on it. I like to tease people I like. And I also have an affinity toward fashion (especially shoes).
