Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to start over? To go back to when you weren’t married, and I didn’t know I was in love with you yet. When we were just two people who were fucking meant for each other. To before I kissed you and you didn’t kiss me back, and before you got too drunk so you could kiss me for the first time. We could always hear “I love you” back.

It would be, but we’re here now and loving each other. At least we’re finally doing it. Maybe it’ll make us stronger for going through the things we have first.
