harlsqueenzel:
Harley had kept her word, he wasnât forced to attend any of his sessions. She made it clear to the guards she wouldnât see him unless it was of his own volition, she wanted a trusting relationship with her patients and she couldnât get that if they were being dragged into her office against her will.
So she sat in her office, pen scratching against paper as she worked late. She had finished all of her sessions earlier in the hour and was now going over her notes.
Time had passed slowly, leaving the bird on edge, constantly waiting for the shoe to drop. Waiting for the orderlies to come rushing forward, dragging him to session after session. YetâŠas the other inmates attended their scheduled activities, therapies and group sessions, Oswald was left alone. Just as Doctor Quinzel had promised. It was unnerving. Surely she had cards she just wasnât keen on showing. It had to be a trickâor an elaborate ruse. The sentenced Kingpin was determined to find out just what it was; good or bad.
Which was how he found himself being escorted down the white halls of Arkham, an orderly on each side before the trio drew to a pause outside the good doctorâs office and knocked.Â
âSorry to bother you Doc. Cobblepotâs demanding a session.â
Looking up at the knock Harleen just tilted her head and smiled at the orderly that had spoken, âThatâs quite alright, no bother at all! Just let him in and Iâll call you when weâre done.â
With the orderly nodding and Oswald finally sitting in her office she smiled at him, âHello Oswald, what can I do for you tonight?â She had a feeling why he was here but she wanted to get the information from and work with him.
