Have you ever considered that maybe Cassius's "Die alone" curse kept you alive because Mab/Demonreach/Bonnie was with you right when you were shot and thus you weren't alone, and that maybe that's the entire reason you're still around?

Greetings, Warden. I have a question about the Art of magic. In your case files, you mentioned that mortal magic is limited in its practice by the Laws of Magic, but you don't do a whole lot of ritual magic beyond divination, summoning and one instance of necromancy and Blood Magic each. I am aware that it was a necessary act at the time, but I wonder if thaumaturgy is more prone to misuse than Evocation? Judging from the nature of the rites used by your foes, is it a good question?

Evocation just isn’t something you can do on the fly without talent. People who screw around with magic are without knowing what they’re into are the people who use ritual magic, so yeah, thaumaturgy is often bastardized.

I had the weirdest dream last night; i was scrolling through Twitter and Jim Butcher was ranting about all the fan questions about Marcone. He tweeted "that's it. Just for that, i'm killing him off in the next book". And Marcone replied with just "aww." while Hendricks and Gard posted pictures of themselves in funeral clothing

Huh. I have that dream a lot too. Usually when I’m awake, though.

(OK, I have no idea because I haven't seen it due to the local cinemas only providing autistic-friendly services for kids' films so I'll have to wait for the DVD or netflix.) Actually, how do you watch films? Because if I were in your position I think the sheer amount of nerdy squee over new Star Wars would cause me to accidentally eff up the projector. I mean, unless you get your friends to dress up and put on a performance...

I’ve mentioned this a few times in the casefiles: drive-in movies.  Though Molly’s gotten something planned for this one.

Let’s just say the limits to svartalf technology might get tested.
