Started my Summer /final major project.

Working with the previous ideas of the relationship between people and landscape, how certain locations can be pivotal emotional turning points in a subjects life.

I've been scanning so many archival slides recently. A few I know who they are, direct relatives or family friends. This man however possess to be neither. A ghost in the system. Out of the sheer mass of images, I accidentally left the colours as negative whilst scanning the file. What I got was this alien, angelic portrait. It was a mistake, yet a happy one at that. I've been going back through projects which have lead me to the institute I am currently at. Brian Griffins Water People in particular. Going back through what makes me want to work with images, rather than being saturated by those around me. Sometimes, solitary is needed when it comes to creating works.
