a lot of this is moreso mourning the past. like ya obviously it was all already over but there’s always a piece of you that’s like it will be fine, things will come round again and you will get it all back. but now nothing can ever be the same again. your childhood, the years you spent laughing and creating memories and making friends, none of it will ever happen again. it’s absurd that seeing an image or clip will just absolutely strike you with a gut punch feeling of deep longing.

we had so much fun. and now it’s over in a way that can never truly be repaired.
