i just realized that while i love all the 1d guys very differently for very different reasons, my love for niall is the most, like… established? based on facts? because while we know the least random shit about him, the kid is too damn good at hiding stuff behind all the “loving life, eating food, go ireland” facade, we also know the most important things? i mean like, for example when i think of louis, i think about my impression of him, of things he does and emotions he expresses, his strong character and his love for the family etc etc etc, i think about the feelings and merits and flaws first; but with niall? we know his opinions on politics, we know his ability to do great impressions and learn languages, we know about his social skills, we know about his choices in fashion and how he clearly goes through phases, we know about his love for sports and which ones; and yeah, we know some of that about the others too, but with niall these are all facts and it makes me, at least, judge his character as i would judge someone who’s actually around me, like any of my acquaintances, it makes me think that i don’t know him, yes, but not in the “oh he’s a celebrity who lives on the other side of the world” sense, just that there’s this guy named niall who is goddamn interesting
