The Soho House Miami thing was just odd. It’s very at odds with his personal brand. Soho House is a members only club how does that align with his whole image? On top of that bringing in fans to watch, probably bc his music isn’t something actual members would be particularly interesting in hearing by the pool so they wanted to have some kind of crowd. The cheque must have been good bc he’s bringing his whole band it’s not even an acoustic set. Doesn’t make sense for either Louis or Soho house really lol but I guess money is money

For Louis it makes sense in that it made him money.

Currently watching: I'm re-watching Girls. I'm on S4. I don't know if I'd watched far fewer episodes when it first came out than I thought I had, or if I genuinely do forget everything I watch, but it feels like new. I suspect the latter.

Currently reading: Famesick, Lena Dunham's memoir. Interesting to read it while binging Girls. And I just asked my friend for some book recs cos I'm going on holiday for a week soon. I can't bring physical books with me, so I gotta abandon my to-read pile and load up my Kindle.

Current obsession: probably still the Jacob Alon album, and the M&S pre-mixed Smoked Pineapple Dacquiri cocktails in a tiny can, and squirrels.

Currently working on: trying not to let my rage bubble to the surface when at work.
