Well, this site really succeeded at destroying itself It’s especially a shame since twitter isn’t a convenient platform for artists due to the lack of tags, people won’t find your art unless someone they follow retweets it. Needless to say that’s not even nearly as reliable as tumblr was. And slapping hashtags on tweets looks awful, and probably wouldn’t help.

I originally started drawing this with the intent of getting WildStar some more attention, but with Carbine falling apart, therefore causing WildStar to end soon, that kinda lost the point. It’s soulcrushing because this was the only game I genuinely enjoyed lately, and I only could play it for few months, and only when I had some time for it. WildStar is a criminally underrated and unique game, with a wonderful world, races, movement, combat, and atmosphere overall, and it really should have deserve a better fate and more players. I’m really really sad to see it go. It probably won’t help at all, but someone started a petition to stop the game from dying. No progress because I’m trash I can’t find a way to put art in my schedule. There’s a literal layer of dust on my board. It feels shitty. Work takes all my time and energy I could use, and I can’t afford not working currently. I have some low amount of free time, but I need some time for others, and for myself to feel more okay’ish. Work taking away 10-12 hours of my days is the only guilty thing here. (plus I can feel it physically and mentally ruining me) I’m kinda close to announce an unknown length retirement, but if I’ll have the chance I’d like to invest more time in art when I’ll be back. Sadly I don’t have much hopes on this topic for now though.. “but haru you barely posted anything already” shaming would be understandable. Long ago I had more time to draw, and I miss having that much time now. If you’d still be interested in seeing some scribbles from me, let me know in some way and maybe I’ll try. I most likely won’t make any relevant progress on my comic planned (and even art in general) in the next few months minimum though, and I’m going to stop saying any ETA until I’m more certain I’ll be able to set one for the release of the first chapter.

About me lately and my comic I’m planning: I didn’t really make progress due to my job eating away most of my time, I rarely ever get to do the things I like (or rest enough) because of it, which includes working on my own craft. It kinda makes me sad, because art stands close to me, even if my activity makes it seem otherwise xP I’d like if I could kinda make it my job one day, but it’s difficult to build from low amount of time and a very small “audience”. I’d rather devote myself to art than keep doing this slavery. This word might sound dramatic, but I’m really sick of having to invest so much time in something I don’t like and straining myself. But sadly money is needed for everything, so I can’t just quit. That alternative would lead me to the worst things.

I’d rather be an artist and create more art for you and do what I like instead being this mess that can’t produce anything that lasts. I know this isn’t a realistic expectation right now, but if you like or if you’ll like my work, I hope you guys will be there to support me to gradually get there. While I don’t have a patreon or anything similar to it up at this moment yet, even sharing or getting my art to more people could possibly mean some help to me, and I’d really appreciate it, because it would mean some progress to me on my way to my goal. And at last, my comic ideas aren’t exactly ditched, and I hope I won’t have to ditch them either. I’ll try to make progress in the future (likely around summer), but it’s kinda difficult.

But I kinda want to post random stuff on there, because I’d like to dedicate this blog more to my art, and not for shitposts and random thoughts. Anyone still around? (I mean the very few people who actually paid some attention on my very few works) These days I don’t have much freetime to draw, and I likely won’t in the next few months either. But! I’m planning to work on my first comic once things settled down atleast a bit more. This comic is going to be psychological/game in matters of genre, with some brighter times included. And with anthros of course, so don’t get scared and run away! I can’t give an ETA yet, because it’s really up to how my schedules will be in the future, and also up to how motivated I will be. That being said some encouragement never hurts x3 If I succeed to make any relevant progress, I will keep you updated. Honestly, I hope I will, because I don’t want to sweep this under the rug.
