Este ano nós temos uma outra história para ver. Esta jovem garota tem um grande sonho e quer descobrir o mundo no processo. Você está pronto para vê-la brilhar?
The waves breaking in the sand likes a quiet melody to them. The problems ceased to exist in there.
Akemi: Soon Moriko grow up, are you Ready to see your little girl turn a Woman?
Colten: Do you really asking me this?
Akemi: [laughs] Okay, okay, this is a big “no”, gotcha.
Colten: A giant no [smile with her laugh] Hey, Akemi… do you regret it?
Akemi: What do you mean with “regret it”?
Colten: Well… [sighs] We had kids early, stayed more in house, you haven’t ventured out into the world… This life wasn’t your teenage dream.
Akemi: [Smiles] You’re right. This life is even better than that old dream.
Colten: Really?
Akemi: Really. I have an increblie husband, two kids whom I love, I lived my life the way I wanted to, I won a lot championships, I saw Maxim lived, I saw your smile every morning and I have a happy Family. Why would I regret such a perfect life? I don’t care anymore for the first prize or Selvadourada. The things I need to be happy are right here, with you. So, no. I don’t regret anything in my life.
Colten: [smiles] You are incredible, Akemi. Can I carry you home?
Akemi: Yes, you can.
These days, these nights are changin'
Mama, my mind is set on you
I'm not afraid to say it, to say it's true
Oh, I hope you know I will carry you home

Finding The Missing Piece
Round 2 – Group 2
Challenge 2 – Winner's Date – Ezra
After learning that one of Ezra's likes was wellness, Dominic chooses to take her to The Jungle Temple Spa (build randomly found on the gallery) for her date.
After talking for a few minutes outside the two move to the yoga mats to take part in the class. Poor Ezra fell down a couple times and even with a full fitness skill Dominic refused to even try the handstand poses.
Ezra told lots of stories to Dom during the date.
The pair eventually moves to the bar where Dominic must show off his mixology skill apparently (And The Watcher sucks at taking screenshots at the right moment).
They talk for a while here mostly funny socials and a few flirts.
At some point either Dominic offers to give Ezra a massage or she asks for one and this is where we follow them over to the massage tables.
It's not one of Dominic's dates if a family member hasn't been selected by the game for walkby activity! Luckily the send home option worked this time around.
Wish we knew what was being said that gave both of them sad faces . . . but they had a plus friendship pop up over their heads so it's fine!
They talked for a while longer. Some more flirts and holding hands.
The two of them sat at a silver date for the longest time* I thought that was going to be the ranking but at the last second they hit gold!
@shmoodlet
*Where I first snipped their date meter when it was almost over thinking they weren't going to hit the gold↓
Finding The Missing Piece
Round 2 – Group 2
Challenge 2 – Archaeology
The dreary morning of Challenge 2 finds us with Aoife having an instant attraction to Skye . . . Why this didn't pop up on day 1 of this group I'll never know but oh well.
Everyone is awake having breakfast and talking, Aoife even offers Dominic a massage.
Soon everyone starts going off to do their own things, Aoife continuing to paint and Ezra playing with the woodworking table.
Skye makes a vase with the pottery wheel and . . .
then we find Ezra fixing the broken projector and gaming system . . . She didn't electrocute herself thankfully. She really has a thing for handiness I guess.
Margo . . . Sweetie . . . I thank you for cleaning the sink but it's a bit broken and your efforts will be for naught. Alright everyone let's fill those needs meters and get ready for the day!
It's time to present the second challenge and Cathrise is here to give everyone the information they need!
And away they go! All of them fervently looking for a piece of treasure!
Margo is the first one to find something: An artifact shaped dirt clump . . .
Aoife soon follows with a Priceless Relic
Ezra also finds a dirt clump
Skye is the last with a fossil . . . A wonderful find but not what we were looking for so only two of our ladies will be judged once we find out what is underneath those clumps of dirt
The Watcher refuses to make the same mistake as the first group and the participants are uncovering the artifacts they found
And it's exactly the same thing . . . FINE! Let's use their archaeology skill then and if that's the same THEN we'll just have to authenticate the items and hope they're not . . . Wow both of them really want that date but the winner is . . .
Finding The Missing Piece
Round 2 – Group 2
Challenge 1 – After the Date
"Spill! And hurry, your sister is singing again and I don't want to miss it."
"Why do you guys always pop up during my dates? Can't you have a date somewhere else?"
"Why? Much easier to just be where you are so we can have our debrief and then I can get back to loving your sister!"
"Wouldn't want to deprive you."
"Exactly! So, good, bad, or indifferent?"
"Good. Hit a couple bumps but those were my fault honestly. Maybe I need to try to better understand some of the traits some of the participants have."
"Sometimes people just want touch on their terms and it's different from day to day. Don't worry too much about it. Sometimes Ev and I get it wrong with Kaye thinking she wants to be lovey-dovey and really she'd rather scratch our faces off, kinda like a cat sometimes."
"Yeah, that's true. I remember this one time — well doesn't matter."
"What! You can't leave me hanging like that!"
"Tell you what, I'll recount every embarrassing story from when she was younger during my speech IF you two ever get married."
"But Dom!!!"
"Nope, not telling. You should get back to your date and I'll head back to the jungle. The portal in the same spot or did you move it?"
"UGH! Fine! Same spot. See you later!"
Loading back into the camp in Selvadorada we find Margo cooking while Ezra dances behind her and Aoife painting with Skye taking a nap.
Dominic went off to forage and jog and randomly take care of plants while I left everyone to their own devices to see what they would do and when he saw that Aoife and Margo had finished with what they were doing and talking together he decided it was a good idea to butt into their conversation.
Margo pulled out her phone to play games and Aoife went to eat and there goes Dom to follow . . . why my dude . . . maybe because she's the only one the game considers "not busy"?
And he must show off his muscles
Ezra is done with her sculpture and joins the conversation. Flirty mood Dom strikes with the hand kiss. Then back to regular conversation.
Aoife and Ezra have a full friendship bar and I think they're best friends. Dominic went to wash dishes so these two went to use the computers and are both researching. Ezra chose handiness (I think) and Aoife is researching new baking techniques.
Dom Glitched out and idled for about an hour or so . . . Which unfortunately brought us to 11 and time to tally the relationship scores. This is also when Skye woke up from her nap so she will most likely be up most of the night now and maybe not have a great tomorrow if she refuses The Watcher's orders to go back to bed.
If anyone is wondering about Margo, she went to bed when she was done playing games on her phone.
Yes, Arun Bheeda is a villain in my save file. Don’t worry, we’ll deal with his messy ass in a future side chronicle. And no, you’re not crazy. Three years out from Monster Date Night, the whole world does suddenly know about gods and supernaturals. I wonder how that happened? 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
Also, shout out to @sirianasims: Johan IS the evilest of all the horses, so this name is for you, lol.

Rainy Day Entertainment
[San Sequoia]
(Cora is in her boss’s office, along with her co-worker, Arun Bheeda, Age: 33. Rainy Day Entertainment’s CEO is Johan Carter, but there’s a rumor that he stole the idea and the board is trying to push him out)
[CORA]: Why is launch still scheduled? QA found a ton of issues that need to be sorted before this hits phones—
[ARUN]: This is what I was talking about at drinks last night.
[CORA]: What drinks?
[CORA]: We didn’t have a meeting. At least not one that anyone told me about.
[ARUN]: Whoa! Cora, don’t go all post-partum on me. We just didn’t want to keep you from your babies. Werewolves are known to be—
[CORA]: Nurturing.
[ARUN]: I was going to say volatile.
[CORA]: Okay, let’s leave my personal life out of this. You’re about to launch a broken app full of bugs. Johan, we need—
[JOHAN]: I’m with Arun. We risk leaving money on the table if we don’t launch. And drinks were a spontaneous thing. Not a slight against you.
(Cora returns to her desk and tries to calm herself down)
[CORA]: Do not use magic. Do not use magic. Stay calm.
[ARUN]: Hey, no hard feelings, right? Believe me, I get it. I’m a father.
[CORA]: Really? And how much co-parenting do you get done on that 7-hour plane ride away from your ex-wife?
[ARUN]: I’m enjoying my single life, that’s not a crime. I bet your husband thinks you’re funny. I should meet him one day. We could make it a company thing. Host a little get-together outside so he can feel comfortable. Wolves prefer to be naked on the full moon, right?
[CORA]: Glad you think I’m so funny. Here’s another joke you might like.
(Cora casts a malicious code into Arun’s computer. It erupts in flames)
[ARUN]: Help! Illegal use of magic! Someone call the police!
Copperdale Junior High
[Copperdale]
(JJ has been called to the main office after Ly was caught fighting and has to bring Viviana and Ehren with him. He sighs deeply when he looks at his son, who is sporting a black eye)
[LY]: Dad, I—
[JJ]: For fuck’s sake, Ly, just don’t. We’ll talk after.
(JJ leaves the younger kids with Ly and goes to talk with Principal Mei Prescott in her office)
[MEI]: Mr. Park, your son is a menace.
[JJ]: How? Be specific.
(Mei nervously shuffles through some folders)
[MEI]: I…I was under the impression you were werewolves, not fae. If he needs an accommodation for specificity, you should have—
[JJ]: I know our rights. We don’t need to be fae for you to specifically tell me what you mean when you say my son is a menace.
[MEI]: Ly cannot just beat up other children on the playground over some good-natured teasing. We’ll have to suspend him.
[JJ]: They were teasing him?
[MEI]: Well, no….
[MEI]: Apparently, Tina Tinker was involved in some sort of dispute. A few names were called, and it’s unclear who launched the pebbles at her, but—
[JJ]: Sorry, are you telling me some little asshole called Tina names, threw stones at her, and you wanna punish Ly for defending her?
[MEI]: He immediately resorted to violence! That’s why we have to suspend him.
(JJ angrily jumps out of his chair)
[JJ]: Suspend him? You need to get better control of your school, lady.
[MEI]: Well, I can see where he gets it from.
[JJ]: Because I’m a werewolf? Because wolves are out of control?
[MEI]: We can’t just allow Ly to return to the classroom without an assessment and disciplinary action on his record.
[MEI]: That’s our policy for werewolves and vampires—
[JJ]: But not fae?
(Mei angrily jumps out of her chair)
[MEI]: Excuse me, the fae are a sophisticated society of—
[JJ]: Scam artists who are glamouring the shit out of you!
[MEI]: Mr. Park! The suspension is—
[JJ]: Say “suspension” one more time.
[MEI]: You are forcing me to suspend Ly from—
(JJ transforms into his wolf form and destroys Principal Prescott’s office. 20 minutes later, he is out in front of the school with all three kids)
[LY]: You lost your temper.
[JJ]: Yeah, I did.
[LY]: Are you getting arrested?
[JJ]: No. I’m not getting arrested, Ly. I’m—
[EHREN]: Fuck.
[JJ]: Shit! Ehren, buddy, please, that can’t be the first word you say. Cora is gonna kill me. What about “hello”? Can you say that?
[EHREN]: Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Shit!
[LY]: He isn’t allowed to say that.
[JJ]: Yeah, I’m aware.
(Ly turns and points at the police cruiser parked in front of the school. An officer and her werewolf partner are walking towards them)
Hello, dear readers! Welcome back! This chapter introduces a crossover with the fabulous @dandylion240. We’ve had so much fun cooking this up for you! If you’re caught up on her Imposter Story, you’ll recognize some names and some moments. If not, you should definitely read it! It’s friggen great. You can enjoy the chapter regardless, of course. Not like you can stop this collision course our characters are on 😈
Dear Ghost God,
The Devil said your arrival would be soon. I’ve sent two of my children to catch you; hopefully, this prevents any injuries from your fall. You’re home now, though you won’t remember. The Divine Creators in their infinite wisdom have seen to that. They said you should start anew, learn this world so you can care for it. They didn’t do that with the Old Gods, and if you’ll pardon me for saying so, it shows. Every last one of them, mad as hatters.
Missy and James will take care of getting you sorted. You can trust them and any of my children. As far as trusting anyone else, well, I’m sure Akira will help you develop a list, but in the meantime, lay low.
Things should be quiet with the holiday season. I’ve stocked your house and given it a good cleaning. It’ll be ready when you are. I’ll come around later and see what you need.
All my devotion,
Bonehilda
P.S. - I know I can’t change your mind about Vladislaus, but you should know most places in the Netherworld have banned him.
P.P.S - The Devil said to tell you that you’ll need to visualize the fourth grave on the right, second row, last name Sparacino. And the cemetery is in Ravenwood.
When Missy finishes reading, Alice is both confused and comforted. “The cemetery? The holiday? Wait, Vlad is banned? How?”
“Well, it’s the haunting season, as you know. The veil is thin. Good time for visiting living relatives, takin' a wee spot of vacation, and restocking our supplies,” Missy explains. “That’s why the city of the dead is basically empty.”
“Right. And don’t worry about Vladislaus. There’s a reward for his head,” James adds. “Akira’s too.”
“WHAT?!?!?!” Alice shouts. “How the hell is that supposed to make me NOT worry?”
James frowns. “Well, no one takes it seriously on account of no one actually wanting to be within ten feet of them. The only creatures even remotely interested in—”
Missy elbows them. “Don’t overwhelm her,” she snaps. “Mum said Ghost God needs to discover things in her own time.”
“But the Book says Ghost God will fulfil the prophecy. And how she’s supposed to be fulfillin’ anything if she don’t know nothin’ about this place?”
“What book?” Alice asks.
“Don’t worry about that either,” Missy replies, crossing her arms.
Alice sighs. Her head is beginning to ache, there’s a sound…maybe like someone calling her? She shivers and rubs her arms, looking around as she finally begins to take in her surroundings.
The giant statue of her is unavoidable.
Did she...did she make that?
No, she wouldn’t have herself tits out squatting in dirt!
She inches closer to the structure, blowing the dust off a plaque near her foot and squinting as her brain scrambles the letters. This is why she missed Vlad. He happily read things out loud to her without hesitation and never made her feel stupid.
Damn it! Why did she want to split up again? She had two boyfriends who seemed to really care about her, and she fucked off to do what? Fall face-first onto an island with a butt-naked statue of her the size of a building? Her vagina was at least ten feet high, for Watcher's sake!
Missy comes up beside her and starts to read. “A life may be bargained for, but the prices must be equal. The offering must be willing.”
Alice feels her face heat. “I can read. It just takes forever, and I know there are like methods that would help me, but…” she winces. “My mom is a scientist; she graduated top of her class at Foxbury. And my dad is a politician, so he reads a lot. And he’s great at speeches. Plus, my step-sister is perfect. Like, Olivia is just—”
“Oh, you don’t have to explain to me, Your Godliness.”
A skeleton she created would say that, because how could they disagree? It was their job to prop up her silly insecurities. Still, Alice can’t stop the word vomit. “Whenever something came up with me, my dad would just send me back to my mom, and then she’d be annoyed because he wasn’t even keeping to the court-ordered schedule. And I didn’t want to leave because I just knew Olivia was going to replace me.”
Missy startles. “That’s not…oh, you really don’t have to say—”
“I guess what I’m saying is that I’m stupid.” Alice tries to shrug it off. “It was easier to pretend I didn’t care than to admit that I couldn’t do it, so I never got help. And it was all for nothing because Olivia replaced me anyway.”
The tears begin to build even though she’s had years to get over the Olivia thing. Maybe she’s just tired. A sound she can’t quite make sense of calls her over to the tree with the glittering ribbons. There’s another plaque.
“The God of Death does not answer the desperate. They answer the Determined,” James reads.
“Did I write that?” Alice is skeptical. She glances up at the sky. The sound is a little clearer now. Less like someone calling her and more like a rustling. But what the hell was it?
“Assuming so,” they nod. “That tree is in the mortal world. Mum says it's a door, but it don’t open for just anyone. You got to be granted access.”
Alice tries to wrap her head around that, but the sound tugs her towards a portal. As soon as she reaches for it, the doorway sparks to life.
She hears the rustling again, but this time she can make sense of the sound: it’s pages, like someone was flipping through a book.
“To call Them is to stand at the threshold—” Missy begins.
James clears his throat. “Missy, maybe we should—”
But Missy continues reading, like she’s compelled to do it. “To stand at the threshold is to risk being claimed.”
Alice doesn’t ask what it means. She can’t. Her head is full of whispers. A name repeats:
Evan.
Evan.
Evan.
Evan.
“We have to go through this door,” she says.
“That might not be a good idea,” James replies softly.
But Alice can already feel it—a need rising in her. She turns back to them, her body burning with a bone-deep sadness that washes against her in waves. If she doesn’t go through the door, she’ll drown.
James and Missy are hesitant, but does she have to stand here and suffer? Gods don’t need permission. And she certainly doesn’t need a fucking door.
This whole world is hers, and by the gods, it will bend to her will.
Megan, Iseul, and Megan's three kids Safiya, Amir, and Emily head to Iseul's brother Min Jun and sister-in-law Paenji's house. Iseul says hi to her sister in and law, then heads inside to talk to her brother. Paenji greets the rest of the group and presents a birthday gift to Emily, saying it's from her and Min Jun. "Aww, you guys didn't have to get me anything," Emily says sheepishly. "We wanted to, Emmy. Open it," Paenji says, her eyes sparkling. Emily opens the box to find a pretty necklace. "I love it. Um-" she quickly flips through the few Korean phrases she learned from Iseul. "Gamsahamnida, aunt Paenji," she says carefully, hoping her pronunciation isn't too bad. "You're welcome," Paenji says with a grin, patting Emily's shoulder.
While Emily talks to Paenji, Megan kisses and hugs her oldest kids 500 times each, with Amir pretending to be embarrassed in case anyone he knew saw him. "You just saw me a few days ago," Safiya teases and Megan sighs playfully. "I know, Saf. I just miss you two so much." She says, and Safiya smiles. "I miss you too, mom." She admits and Megan pulls her in for another bear hug. "I know we don't get to see each other as much as I'd want to, but I'm always here for you and Ammu and you two will always be my oldest nooboos," she says and Safiya nods, trying not to get too sappy in front of Paenji. Megan notices this, and her eyes soften as she squeezes Safiya's shoulder.
Edit: Emily is part Korean (plus a bunch of other things), from her Ma Tess's side, so she's been trying to learn a few basic phrases. She's fluent in Mandarin and Simlish but she's learned a bit of Korean from Iseul and Tess, some Urdu from her cousins Piper and Hamuera, and some Hindi and Punjabi from her older siblings Safiya and Amir. (If you know Korean, let me know if Gamsahamnida is correct because Google told me a couple of phrases, some formal, some semi formal, and some informal. 😅)
After having lunch in the backyard, Safiya pulls Bailey close and kisses her cheek. Megan passes by on her way to the apartment, and she glances at the lovebirds and smiles. Safiya catches her eyes, and Megan gives her daughter a teasing look as she shakes her head and smiles. Safiya then goes over to her cousin Piper, pulling out a gift box. "It's a couple of clothes and accessories I bought for Nalani," she says, and Piper's eyes soften. "Aw Saf. You didn't have to get all this but thank you," she says. "I wanted to, and now whenever Lani wears a cute outfit, she can know it's from auntie Safi," Safiya adds playfully as Piper grins.
Piper heads inside her and Cam's apartment to put the gift away and comes back. "I saw the cute clips you got Lani, she's been obsessed with fruit shaped everything lately and I know she'll love them. My moms gifted her a strawberry backpack a week ago and she filled it with the toy tools Cam's mom bought for her so she can 'help Umma fix things.' She toddles after Cammy with that bag and lets her instruct her on which tool she needs. She uses her toy and then Cam uses the real tool after," she adds and Safiya's eyes soften. "Stop, that's so cute. I can't wait til Bailey and I have our own kids," she adds, blushing as Piper nudges her.
[After they made up, Dulce and Antonio talked late into the night, until their eyelids became heavy with sleep.]
~ zzz zzz zzz zzz ~
[Dulce woke up snuggled against Antonio. She wanted to stay like this forever, but her back started to ache from laying down too long. For the first time, she cursed being an early bird.]
DULCE: Antonio..... you awake?
ANTONIO: Mhm. What’s on your mind?
[She smiled. That was the tone of a man who’d been awake for a while!]
D: We don’t have to leave this place just yet, right?
A: Nah.. it’d be a crime to. We haven’t used the house to its full potential yet.
D: Exactly. Let’s get up and we can spend the night together again. My room this time.
A: I like the sound of that.
