Later that day, Iseul takes Megan and Emily to see her oldest niece, Cecilia. Cece lives in Old New Henford with her wife Hanh and their two daughters Nguyêt and Lily-Iseul (named after her great grandma Nari and grand-aunt Iseul). Cece's also pregnant with her and Hanh's third and final baby. Cece's younger sister Cam and her wife Piper are also expecting a second baby soon, so the two cousins will be around the same age.
Iseul goes into full auntie mode with Cece, checking in on her first and asking about the baby. "The doctor said everything looks good, but I'm just exhausted," Cece says, and Iseul nods. "Well, we're here for a few days and I can watch the girls for an hour or so if you and Hanh need to rest," she says, and Cece smiles. "Thanks auntie Is, but you guys are here on vacation so Hanh and I can manage," she says. "I know, but Megs and I don't mind. Plus, it'll allow us to spend time with the girls and they can get to know Emmy," Iseul says and Cece nods eventually.
Inside the cottage, Iseul gives bear hugs to both her grandnieces. "You're getting so tall, Lily," she says to her younger niece, who grins. "Soon I'll be tall as you, auntie Is!" Lily-Iseul says. Meanwhile, Megan feels Cece's belly as the baby kicks. "I think they'll be a wrestler, soccer player, or ballet dancer with the way they're kicking and tumbling," Cece jokes and Megan laughs. "Emmy would kick me a lot too," she says, grinning as her now 18 year old daughter gives her a playfully scandalized look. "My son Amir, who my ex wife Amira carried in her belly, would kick so much too. I think it's just the Liao family genes," she says and Cece laughs.
Also, I put two photos of Megs and Is being cute. 🥹🥰 They're not as woohoo crazy as they were in their earlier years or when they first got back together in their adult years, but they're very steady and loving.
Also, I wanted to spoil that both Cam and Piper, and Cece and Hanh's respective second and third babies are girls. I swear, Min Jun and Paenji started off having two girls, then had two daughters in law, and now will have 5 total granddaughters when the babies are born making them girl parents and girl grandparents. It's awesome 😄 (though of course, that can change later on when the kids get older and discover anything about themselves).

Dominic came back from the "secret garden" to talk to everyone and moved to emotionally connect with Rowan.
With Kishi's Hydration motive red again she was sent to swim some laps and everyone else followed.
This is where they stayed until the end of exploration day when they were sent to the camp for the night.
While all the ladies seemed to take a shower and change when they all got back Dominic opted to stay roaming around in his swimsuit. The dinner conversation seemed to go very well (including the hugs from Lilly and Rowan that didn't pop up in Dom's queue. I love the autonomous cutesy things the sims do like the hugs and surprise cheek kisses!)
It's not sims if there isn't some musical chairs but it's fine. Conversation keeps going.

Eventually Dom heads off to the showers, leaving everyone to start doing their own things. Filomena and Rowan work on their friendship, and Lilly cooks more food.
Clicking through the avatars we find Kishi has gone for a jog and after cooking Lilly does too.
Filomena was found at the pottery wheel and Rowan's queue says she's harvesting a plant but it looks like she's foraging

Coming back, Dom watches the stars with Rowan who forms a crush
Alex comes over for a visit, and Stephanie gets up to hug them. "Hey sweetie, how's your grandma Sachiko doing?" She asks. "She's doing better, and um my mom and dad told me to tell you thanks for the flowers you sent for her," Alex says, and Stephanie smiles. Alex can't help but notice that her pretty brown eyes are almost the exact same shade as her daughter Nancy's, and they try not to blush. "Of course. Sachiko and Shigeru made me feel so welcome when I first moved here from the states, even when my Japanese was pretty rusty and I accidentally used informal terms for them," Stephanie says and Alex grins. "I'm surprised grandpa didn't call you out, he was a stickler for rules and traditions," They joke and Stephanie grins. “I miss him a lot.” Alex admits quietly, and Stephanie’s eyes soften as she nods and gives them another side hug.
Nancy, who's sitting at the table with Riley, jokingly calls out. "Mom, stop hogging my Alex," and then blushes deeply. "Your Alex?" Alex asks teasingly, and Nancy turns pink as Alex and the family join in on lovingly teasing them. "I just meant my time with Alex," Nancy says, glancing at an also blushing but happy Alex. "Sure, Nan," they say with a wink, and Nancy feels llamas gallop in her stomach. They can't wait to get Alex alone in their room to continue where they left off with the goodbye kiss. Nancy waits until Alex greets their parent too, and then casually suggests that they go to her room. “Yeah,” Alex says shyly, and Riley gives Nancy a meaningful parental look. “Yes Ren, we’ll keep the room door open.” Nancy says with a blush, and Alex turns pink too. “Dont worry, Mx. Takamura, we’ll keep the door open if it makes you more comfortable,” they say, and Riley nods. Once inside Nancy’s room, Nancy’s heart flutters as she and Alex shift closer on their bed and they lean in for a kiss. The kissing leads to making out, but doesn’t go any further.
Edit: Alex’s grandma Sachiko is still alive (and recovering well after her fall and surgery), but their grandpa Shigeru passed away a while ago. 💛
Also, Stephanie and Riley both moved to Japan in their early twenties. Stephanie moved for work after she’d started taking Japanese language classes and got a job at a ski inn and resort (where she later met Riley). Riley was born in Japan (they’re mostly Japanese but have some Chinese and Tomarani ancestry from their mom Mariko) but raised in the states with their sister Sophia, so they moved back for work and just to be closer to some relatives as well. 💜
Also, I’m rewatching Hannah Montana for fun and I’m enjoying all the fun and antics. Weirdly, it’s inspiring me with Nancy’s character because Nan is in that same teen stage of figuring out who she is and what they might want for the future.

Next we see Lilly flirting with Dominic (I think she's performing the 'sexy pose' interaction)
We scroll back over to Rowan to see what she's up to and it looks like she has decided to clear away the vines at the gate. PLEASE DON'T HURT YOUR HANDS!!! Let's go back to Dom and the other ladies while she takes care of that
And over here Lilly and Dominic are kissing. Kishi is still swimming around and thankfully the boundaries are still holding for Filomena doesn't seem to care in the slightest and everyone is happily talking together.
Kishi, your hydration motive is full now, care to join everyone else? No? That's fine. Lilly, though in an energized mood, is using romantic socials left and right with Dom.
Time to check on Rowan. UMM . . . Rowan? ROWAN!!!!!!!! I'm sure she's fine just made it through the gate and the game didn't give us the music it does when a gate clears.
While we wait for her to pop up on the other side we'll go back to everyone else and of course Dominic is foraging again . . . LEAVE THE GROUND ALONE AND TALK TO EVERYONE!!!!! At least Kishi joined everyone else.
When next I click to find Rowan she's made it to the Garden! Maybe come back to the group though?
She eventually did come back through the gate and Lilly was the first one to go and talk to her while Dom stayed to finish talking to Filomena and Kishi
Eventually everyone else came over too, I can't get over Filomena coming over to trick Lilly with the hand buzzer though! (You can just see the sparks coming off her in the second picture in this group. I also wish I had been fast enough to get the nose boop from Dom's tease interaction with Rowan.)

Pan back over and find Dom kissing Rowan's neck, I feel like I shouldn't have left them! What other interactions did I miss? (probably not many but my game was lagging and wouldn't snap right back to them when I right clicked Dom's avatar so I had to manually move the camera.)
but then Rowan is sad? I don't know what by but she's asking to be consoled by Lilly
After some more talking amongst the group Dom went through the gate and was found harvesting some of the plants.
with that being the 30th picture (including the two banners) This group will be getting a 3rd part! Hopefully it will be the last
(it is 1pm sim time at the time I took the last screenshot and though I plan for exploration day to end at 6pm due to low hunger meters and such they have ended earlier in previous groups so there can't possibly be too much more this group can get into before the end . . . right?)

Part 1 of 3
Kaye begins the day telling our newest group about their itinerary while Dominic makes breakfast.
And Dom better speed up his cooking because Kaye is heart-farting the entire group!!! (She'd never do anything about it but she does thoroughly approve of this group)
Though I am worried that Kishi is trying her luck with Kaye. (OK not really since the read Aura is just a game mechanic and they're all pre-established notifs)
Dominic finishes cooking and though he calls everyone to meal they still want to talk to Kaye leaving him to eat some his meal alone so The Watcher takes it upon herself to force everyone to stop talking to Dom's sister and get them to eat breakfast.
Finally everyone sits down to eat and talk (and for Lilly to exchange phone numbers with Dom), Except Kishi who is talking on the phone . . . did she get a reception upgrade from one of the save's spellcasters?
Everyone gets up and starts admiring the art in the room (probably because they're at a museum lot) and Dom plays musical chairs to continue talking to everyone.
Soon enough everyone has eaten and it's time to head off to the Jungle.
Through the entry Gate we see that this first gate after entering the Jungle is yet again locked and The Watcher wonders if it will ever open.
Oh well . . . ONWARD PAST THE FALLS!!!

Dominic clears the next gate while Lilly talks to him and once they get to the other side we see that unfortunately the only gate we haven't made it through yet is locked maybe next group can make it through during their exploration day.
The Watcher leaves everyone to idle to see what they will do but after a sim hour that no one does anything she rolls a virtual die to see which gate they'll go through. The Watcher chooses Dominic to clear the way seeing as he's the only one with a Machete since the ones that were dropped on the home lot before coming to Selvadorada were forgotten (some were placed at the camp lot but the game says that none of the group members own them and they can not be placed in inventories *sigh*). Everyone comes over to talk to Dom and each other while the gate is cleared.
To our dehydrated mermaid's delight we make it to the Omiscan Royal Baths! Though everyone does idle for yet another Sim hour (very glad exploration days start early).
Finally Kishi makes her way into the water without any Watcher intervention and is much happier while Dom, Lilly and Filomena talk, and Rowan went to a bush . . .
Well let's leave her be and head back to the group.
Panning back we find Filomena and Dominic embracing
and a quick cycle through everyone's avatars shows Lilly with a Dominic related whim and apparently she formed a crush on him at some point? The notification never popped up but Lilly gets Crush Points!
Alright let's leave the three of them to do what they're gonna do and check on Rowan who is viewing the next gate, wanna come back and hang out with the group maybe?
WOAH! Back to everyone else since we get a notif that Dom and Filomena are having their first kiss!! Didn't they have one last round? After going through all of Filomena's posts from last round she in fact never had a "first kiss" with Dominic. She also formed a crush (at least we got that notif!).
We're out of room for pictures so see you in Part 2! One day I'll be able to delete photos but I just don't like to.
Nancy gathers the whole family in the kitchen that afternoon. Riley and Stephanie exchange meaningful looks, and Haruo glances curiously at this older sibling as she takes a deep breath. “Okay. So, um, I wanted to let you guys know something.” Nancy starts, glancing at Riley. Riley smiles encouragingly. “I’m genderqueer, I’m pretty sure, especially after having a talk with Alex and looking things up and just spending some time figuring it all out. And my pronouns now are she/they.” Nancy rushes out. Stephanie smiles at her oldest nooboo. “Oh Nan, that’s great,” she says. “Thanks mom.” Nancy beams, “I’m happy for you too, kiddo.” Riley says, their eyes shining. “Aw, Ren, don’t cry, you’ll make me cry too.” Nancy says, blinking rapidly as their parent smiles. Haruo grins too, giving his older sibling a playful look. “It is amazing Nan. Though you’ll always be a butthead to me-in a good way!” he adds as Stephanie gives him a playfully admonishing look and Nancy laughs. “Butthead and fart face are gender neutral terms right?” He asks his parent, and Riley nods, lips twitching as they try not to laugh. “Thanks, you guys. I don’t know why I was so nervous.” Nancy says, brown eyes sparkling, and Riley leans over to put a hand over hers, “It’s alright, nooboo. It must have been so new to you to discover this and now share with us, and I’m so glad you shared it with us.” They say, and Nancy nods, a soft smile on their face.
Nancy leaves (taking the long as heck bridge leading back to the road so she can reach her family car), and Alex feels like they're walking on a cloud as they drift to the kitchen with a smile on their face, replaying the moment of the kiss over and over in their mind. Their dad and grandpa clock their sappy look, and lovingly tease the teen. "I trust things went well with your friend Nancy?" Kiyoshi teases. "Papa!" Alex says, blushing as their grandpa joins in on the teasing. "You're just like your dad. He would come home from seeing Kaori and would have such a moony look on his face that Megumi and I just knew." Naoki says, looking fondly at Kiyoshi, who blushes and grins.
Alex heads to their room and flops onto the bed to further daydream of Nancy, but gets up when they hear knocking. "Come in!" They say. Kiyoshi enters, looking awkward like when he and Kaori gave Akira and then Alex the woohoo talk. Uh oh, Alex thinks. "Nooboo, now that you and Nancy are getting serious-" Alex groans playfully. "I know kiddo, but we need to have this talk. Look, I was 15 once, I know things can get heady fast and kissing can lead to other things when you're in a, um, passionate mood. Your mom and I will never shame you for any choice you make with Nancy or another sim, but we want you to be safe and let us know if you need to take any contraceptives." He says, his face pink. "Oh, um, Nancy and I aren't anywhere near the woohoo stage. We only just kissed and I think we both want to take it slow." Alex says, their face flushing too. "Good!" Kiyoshi looks slightly relieved. "But if that ever changes you can come to either of us." He says gently and Alex smiles. "I know, thanks Papa," they say.
At the Ito house in Wakaba, Alex Nishidake gets ready for their friend Nancy to come over. They head out to see if Nancy, who’s being driven over by her parent Riley, has arrived yet, and their sister Akira, mom Kaori, and grandma Megumi follow. “Your girlfriend will be here soon, Al.” Akira says teasingly, and Alex blushes. “Nan and I aren’t-I mean we’re just-” they stop, blushing, and grandma Megumi pulls them into a bear hug. “It’s okay, nooboo. Akira’s just teasing, we know you’ve liked Nancy since forever.” she says lovingly and Alex nods. They flash back to grade 6, when they’d moved with their mom, dad, and older sister Akira to Mt. Komorebi to be closer to both sets of grandparents. They’d walked into their new classroom feeling shy and awkward, and had immediately noticed Nancy Takamura, who was cheerful and goofy and had bright red hair and pretty brown eyes. They were lucky enough to sit next to her after the introductions to the class, and they became fast friends and Alex’s crush had only grown from there.
Now, Alex hears a car pull up, and they gently shoo their family back inside, grinning as Akira pokes their arm on the way in. Nancy gets out of her family car with a bouquet of flowers, waves goodbye to her parent, and walks along the bridge to Alex’s house. Once she reaches Alex, she smiles shyly and Alex smiles back. “Hey,” she says softly. “Hey,” Alex says, blushing a bit as Nancy hands them the bouquet. “It’s for your family. And, um, how’s your grandma doing?” She asks, biting her lip. “She’s doing much better, she’s recovering at home with an aide and mom and dad are going to take me and Akira to see her once she’s feeling okay.” They say, and Nancy’s eyes brighten. “That’s good. I was so worried for you and I kept wanting to call or text but I knew you were busy helping your parents and Akira and probably stressed,” Nancy says, and Alex smiles. “You can always reach out, Nan. Talking to you instantly makes me happy and less stressed,” they say before blushing. Nancy’s face turns pink too,. “Um, would you want to come inside? We can hang out in my room?” Alex offers and Nancy grins. “Sure,” she says.
Edit: Alex and their older sister Akira were adopted by Kaori and Kiyoshi Nishidake (née Ito), and it’s one of the things that Nancy and Alex bonded over, since Nancy was also adopted by her parents as a baby and both have the most loving families. Alex and their family are living with grandma Megumi and grandpa Naoki. Kaori and Kiyoshi help to pay the bills and maintain the massive estate, and with two teens, there’s a lot of laughter and fun around the house, which makes Naoki and Megumi happy since their youngest daughter Nanami had moved once she got married to her wife Hinata.
