Certainly a choice. Odd that you're interacting with a Hatchetfield citizen by choice, but I guess I can't judge. Do tell me, why do you like Clivesdale so much? I was drawn to Hatchetfield for reasons, so you must have reasons for liking... that place.
Well why wouldn’t I? Clivesdale is clean and friendly and there’s always something fun to do! The Cherry Festival is coming up, and I can’t wait to get together with my friends and go! The whole town really comes together in a show of positivity and love for big events like that. It makes me feel like I’m part of a real community.
And don’t get me wrong—I love Hatchetfield! They make for such a nice sister-city. But there are… reasons to stay out of Hatchetfield, I’ve found.
It’s best not to dwell on our differences. I prefer to love it all, all the same!
Well, I'd argue the Honey Festival is FAR superior to yours, but I have my reasons to like it. I've found no reasons to stay out of this wonderous, magical place!

Why thank you little one. I certainly do have plenty of books about bugs. Would you prefer ones with lots of pictures or not? I like to check because some people don't like pictures and others only want those.
He offers a friendly smile. He's not sure the age of this person, nor does he know them personally.
Either way, they'd be in the Non-fiction section under 595.79. do you need help finding them?
They seem to think for a moment before smiling and nodding

They hold out their hand to shake, though it is practically vibrating with energy.
Paul does the same polite smile. He avoids the hand. Never been one for physical touch, less so if he doesn't know the person. It's just a Paul thing, but he's found it's something that's his thing too.

He leaves and returns with a few different kinds of books on bugs. One seems to be an encyclopedia of them, another is a compendium built for children, and the last is a photography book that specifies in bugs.

They politely snatch the books
Buggiesbuggiesbuggies... they repeat as they go to a seat. They promptly sit down and start reading, immediately shutting up to focus.
Besides being visibly confused if not concerned, Paul leaves Robin to their devices and returns to his normal duties.
He glances over from time to time to check in, but mostly he keeps his distance. While he's unsure what it is, there is an underlying sense of something wrong with Robin. Like a presence Paul can't put his finger on.
One that makes his left eye ache fiercely, as if in warning.
They finish the books surprisingly quickly, return them to where they belong, and bound back up to the librarian
Thank you, sir! Uh, one more thing. There's this book I used to have that got stolen after I came here... it doesn't have a title written anywhere but it's black and has an upside-down star in a circle! It's called the Black Book! Has it been given to you at all?

I like Death Note too! I think it's got a lot of deep messaging. Obviously I've watched all of One Piece. What's Beastars? I haven't heard of that one, is it good?
I'd say it's good! It's basically a furry anime lololol it's kind of hard to describe?? A wolf falls in love with a rabbit but yknow his natural instinct is to eat her and stuff :3 its a little violent and I love it <33 it sounds weird when I describe it but it's good ;3 glad to see there are other people in Hatchetfield who like Death Note :D

He stretches his pocket and pulls out a yellow mug. It sports a goofy face, with bulging blue eyes and crooked teeth. Most notably, the lip of the mug has two tiny goat horns, on the spot most would drink from. It smells like chocolate.
