The first piece I made with a screen tablet. (An XP-Pen Artist Pro 16inch, 2nd Gen)

It's such an amazing change, especially when working with Clip Studio Paint. Finally it no longer takes me 10 tries to get a line where and how I want it, lmao.

My character Loui. He's a mopey, angsty scientist in his mid 30s with anger issues and suicidal tendencies. He loves wearing way too much eyeliner, but doesn't like being called a GOFF (he doesn't like music much). He's just really edgy.

Aya is a girl, which is rare, since VK is dominated by men (dressing up very feminine). All the other members are guys - they are all good friends and besties (all platonic though - they can keep things professional)

They formed in Summer 2001 in the Saitama area - their debut demo tape released on 12.12.2001 in selected indie stores. I made a flyer design for them a while back.

One of the last few pieces I have done lately in photoshop, before switching fully to CSP. Found a nice reference for the hand pose on pinterest (sadly can't find the pin again… ) and went from there.

Nikolai with a more unusual , kinda mad expression. Probably after his face got shredded (as a Halfling he heals super fast, so it's not a big deal), and before ripping his attacker a new one.

Dazzle it's a glittering prize

It's been forever I drew my character Claudia. I did a few pieces many years ago on my old Deviantart, like this one.

She's part of another story I never really developed properly and have kinda stopped caring about, tbh. But I still like her, because I have a fondness for oldschool 80s/90s Goth — both the music and the style.

I used CSP for this, rather than Photoshop. I tried CSP ages ago and didn't it click back then, but this time I had a very good time working with it. I guess I will slowly transition away from PS, since its inferior brush tool drives me insane, plus CC is bloody expensive…

Shadowdancer

A trve goff girl. She found all her clothes on the fleamarket instead of buying it from Killstar or shein. Most of the time she dresses like a lazy hobo though, because only try hards will look goff 24/7 and go to bed with their fits and makeup on.

She loves goff muzak, but listens to other music too and doesn't give a shit about people thinking she's a poser because of it.

And no, she won't be your "big tiddy Goff GF", you creep.

Dazed and Confused

Nikolai, going through the motions as his mind and body are starting to alter, grow and change – into his true being, a human with the blood and tissues of an eldritch-human hybrid. After a nearly deadly encounter with a Phonoi this change was triggered.

Sadly no medicine known can help him and once started the process cannot be stopped - Loui has something that makes the transition easier and more soothing; the scientist likes to call it a "second puberty", which Nikolai dislikes. At least with puberty you usually don't have constant piercing headaches and hallucinations and your blood doesn't feel like it's boiling and turning blue-black.

Did a few color variations. Nikolai's probably seeing all those colors too (and the swirlies).

The Gangster

Wow, a male character with a beard! That's a new one for me!

This is Viktor, cousin of Draga. Like her he's a trve Crimean Goth and a Phonoi Halfling (a hybrid of humans and some cosmic beings).

He came to the USA in the 2000s with his family and Draga to follow his uncle, who already had business there. Expecting to find a possibility to attain great wealth and to attain the benefit of receiving a proper identity (with a passport and papers, since the Halflings don't have that and tend to live in the shadows of larger society).

He eventually ended up with the wrong crowd of people and landed in the world and business of organized crime, which did eventually bring him a lot of money and power, but also a lot of guilt and a lot of people want him dead now.
