I read a massive amount about bipolar when I first got diagnosed. I got the official PTSD diagnosis last January and just started reading about it last week - is this a symptom.

Anyways, there aren't any empirical type studies about trauma because studies like that would necessitate the unethical act of exposing people to trauma and DUH that explains so much. Research psychiatrists say dissociative amnesia doesn't exist because no empirical evidence but most clinicians say it's common.

Now I am going to shudder while imagining what getting empirical evidence about trauma would look like.

I keep trying to plan a big trip this summer and then just failing to do so - I am going to the island to surprise my mom for her birthday and can't seem to do that either. What is executive dysfunction.
