" Thanks, I appreciate that" she smiled softly at the other woman. " I haven't seen you here before, are you visiting or did you just move?" she asked, it was hard to keep track of all the owners of the house, most of them would die soon after moving there.

“You know, next time you get hurt you should really go to the hospital, NOT the morgue.” she chided, not looking away from the wound she was stitching up. The laceration wasn’t too serious, certainly nothing fatal, but Cassie still felt the need to remind them that the people she usually worked on were already dead.

Regan sighed and sat back. "I don't like hospitals." She admitted. "I can feel everything there. The fear the sadness. Here everyone is just dead." The Medium explained.

Steve opened his mouth, pushing past the pain and wave of nausea that rose up in him - forcing himself to look over at her and try some semblance of normalcy (though he probably failed). "But I'm fine, really. It's ... it's just a fucking migraine, deal with them all the time." The way his words came out strained, practically forced out, probably didn't help his case much. Sighing he decided to at least close his eyes, letting out a slow, even, breath. "You don't ... have to be here. I'll be fine. Really."

Having the abilities that she had. She could feel his pain. Almost taste it. Her need to help was strong. She gave Steve a pointed look. “I’m clairvoyant, Darlin’.” She tells him. “You can’t lie to me.” A small grin made its way to her lips.

Her hand moved to Steve’s wrist fingers gentle, checking his pulse. An older habit from working at a nursing home as a teenager.

“Lay.” She motioned to him to lay his head in her lap. “Let me help. I know a few tricks. Temple and scalp massages. I’ll be gentle I promise.”

Regan hadn't been in a situation like this before. Her father had of course. A few times. Monsters had gone after him countless times. He'd always come home to her. Until he didn't. She wasn't going to let herself die nor was she going to let Eddie die.

"Eddie please..." She begged, but she could feel him growing heavier in her arms. "Alright. I got you." She set him against a wall. "Hey. Hey." She put her hands to his cheeks. "Look at me."

He wasn't going to make it if she didn't do something. She reached into her bag looking for something. She pulled out the metal cross. An idea forming. "Alright, Eddie. This is really gonna suck but you gotta trust me alright?" She said softly, his hands shaking as she looking through his pockets, finally she found what she was looking for. A lighter.

"I have to cauterize it." She tells him. She pulled the belt from around her waist and held it to his mouth. "Bite down."
