She died in 2019, but has no clue what’s going on, was a geneticist while alive, and brings big info dumping nerd energy to the house.

BBC Ghosts Roleplay Discord

Haunted has recently been revamped! Users can have an unlimited amount of oc’s and all of the canon characters are available.

You can join as a longtime fan of Horrible Histories and Ghosts or as somebody who has no idea what those are and just wants to have a historical character roleplay.

We’re a small and warm community with friendly mods and lively characters. We write semi-literate to literate but anybody is welcome as long as they can write a reply longer than one sentence! Whether you’ve been roleplaying for years or just want to get into it, Haunted has a place for you.

We have Question of the Day to help provoke ideas about your characters as well as events to get your characters in fun situations!

People are free to make any historical ghost (or modern-day human!) as long as they’re not a real person and are sensitive to the source material. Examples of some characters we already have are a Princeton graduate that had a ‘mishap’ at Button House, a 1910s English nurse, and a farmer from 400AD.

Alize Roberts (ghost): An American grad student capable of influencing birds

Archie Valet (ghost): a middle ages peasant who is way too pure for anyone.

Clifford Randall (ghost): a World War Two sailor who died of a broken heart

Hólmgeirr Iversen (ghost): a viking with dad vibes

Humphrey (ghost): yep, it’s canonical Humphrey 

Hroðgar Gould (ghost): a Saxon known far and wide for his vanity

Jonnie Gold (ghost): Button House’s resident “spirit of rock and roll”

Leia Crosby (human): a physics student who’s pretty sure this house is haunted

Lydia Dorsey (ghost): a munitions worker killed in a World War One factory explosion

Naomi Nietz (human): a student who’s very sure this house is haunted

Nadia Rybakov (ghost): a cold-war era young Russian woman with a tragic past

Sean Harington  (ghost): a Ghost who adds (or thinks he adds) aliens to the button house equation!

Ross Wilson: (human): an apprentice plumber who *might* be friends with Julian
