These Fragile Bodies (series; ongoing):
This Vibrant Skin: When Anne Boleyn and her fellow queens wake up after almost five hundred years, there's quite a bit they must adjust to--not least of which is discovering the ins and outs of how to understand the ways their bodies work in the twenty-first century.
Through to Sunrise (explicit): Sex, trial, and fucking error. Or, two times Anne didn’t come and one time she did.
Unravel: Anne's mischief, forgetfulness, temper, and apparent lack of time management skills begin to wear on Jane. Kitty, meanwhile, wonders whether her cousin might have ADHD.
Somewhere Different Now: Everyone in the queens' household has paired off--except for Catalina and Jane. The two have become fast friends, and there's some definite attraction. The thing is, after a first life overly constrained by her marital status, Catalina would really, truly prefer to stay single this time around. But does that mean she must also be resigned to indefinite celibacy?
Gynaikeia: When Anne starts experiencing abdominal pain, it hits Cathy far too close to home.
Queenly Masks: After Catherine Parr is overwhelmed by the cacophony of the theater, she begins to look for an explanation for several things that seem to make her feel different from the others, eventually concluding that she is autistic.
City of Peace (explicit): A smutty outtake from the end of chapter 6 of “Queenly Masks" that uses Song of Songs 8:8-9 as a thematic scaffold, because why not.
Peregrina (in progress): When Catalina begins showing worrisome symptoms, Cathy, Jane, and the rest of the queens must push her to take them seriously.
The Cat’s Fugue (crossover with Rachel Hartman’s Seraphina series): As Katherine Howard recovers her instrumental skills from her previous life, she realizes she needs a teacher in order to make further progress. Alas, given her history with music lessons, she'll need to be selective--but harpsichord teachers are hardly a dime a dozen. Enter Seraphina Dombegh.
Love and Work (Or, Queens to Watch Out For) (explicit): “Femme under the lights, butch later that night?” How TOO cliché. Everyone knows the queens’ stage personae aren’t all there is to them. What they’re like in more…compromising circumstances adds yet another layer. Hilarity ensues. (Concept based on Dykes to Watch Out For strips #290 and #291, "Love and Work I & II").
Piper Spp.: Getting used to the twenty-first century when you lived and died in the sixteenth century involves a lot of adjustments--from major things like new systems of government and medicine, to apparently minor things, like the low price of spices. Sometimes it's the minor things that are hardest to wrap one's head around, as Catalina and the others learn when they go grocery shopping for the first time since coming back. Hilarity ensues.
Aleinu (in progress): When Catalina and Kitty begin to grapple with the legacies of their and their families' complicity with the persecution of Iberian Jews and the colonization of the Americas, they learn far more than they expected about why the six of them were reincarnated and what they must do with their second chance.
Pavane for a Tedious Anniversary: Tomorrow was the anniversary of Katherine Howard's execution, and as she settled into her new life, she was finding the fact that it occurred every damn year (as anniversaries are wont to do) to be exceedingly wearying. The thing no one had warned her about coping with trauma over the long term was just how tedious it was. Anne Boleyn, however, had no intention of letting her cousin suffer alone.
Woman’s Need Calls Me (crossover with Mercedes Lackey’s Valdemar universe): Tarma, Kethry, and Warrl have no earthly idea how they've ended up in this strange place. But before they can even get their bearings, Need pulls them towards the center of a city, racing to stop a very important execution...
