Life update
Since this pandemic is being a pain in the ass for everyone, I've decided to keep myself busy and do some stuffs that will help me improve something in myself. I tried to do cooking, baking, planting, etc. I also spend my time learning some stuff, I can now read hiragana and katakana (OH YES, I'M PROUD OF IT) Honestly, I find it fun. There are days that I forgot where my phone is. It's a good thing tho (social media is full of negativity, try to avoid it. Lol)
I think this quarantine made me a better person. I get to spend a lot of time on real things like living for real. It's like living in the generation where phones doesn't exist. It is somehow therapeutic for me. (I know phone is a necessity, but please don't spend too much time on it. Live.)
Not too late for a latte.
Who doesn't love mornings?
This is beautiful. (no pun intended)

Wonderin' how it feels to live in Notting Hill. (maybe it'll be surreal... but nice)
Quarantine routine.
I understand that being quarantined might be boring for some people. As an introvert, I don't mind being home for a month. I think it's important for us to have a daily routine during this pandemic season to help our minds off about the spreading virus (and also to lessen our worries) So, I made a list of my daily routine.
Pray, praise and talk to Him
Exercise for 10-15 minutes
Read/Re-read books
Take time to talk to your family instead of binge-watching on netflix
Cook or bake
Reflect on yourself
Meditate
Draw or paint
Find new hobby
De-clutter (this is my favorite thing to do)
Write a journal.
In short, find some things to keep yourself at ease. It is important for us now to have faith, pray and repent. Maybe this is God's way of getting our attention and spend time with Him. This pandemic will end soon. Keep on praying and believing.
Meditation 101
Lately, karma and universe thingy caught my interest. I have been searching this stuff all over the internet for a few days now. As I browse, one thing leads me to another. And it leads me to this certain topic, meditation.
I am completely aware that I am facing mental breakdowns. And I find this stuff helpful.
My mind is always wandering and full of thoughts. I have learned that meditation actually help you to cleanse your mind.
Here's some techniques for beginners like me.
1. Medidate for atleast 2 minutes a day.
Try to do it on a daily basis. Find a comfortable spot in your house or in your garden.
2. Sit comfortably
I learned that you can even do this while lying. But I suggests you do it while sitting. You can sit on a cushion or pillow.
3. Close your eyes
You can also do it with eyes wide open. For me, I can focus with my eyes closed. Make sure to empty your mind and not think of anything else but relaxation.
4. Breathe naturally
Focus on your inhalation and exhalation but still, breathe naturally. Whenever your mind wanders, focus again on your breathing.
5. Do this on a daily basis
Find time to meditate. I usually do this every morning, when everyone is still asleep. You can easily do this when it's quiet. Do this daily for 2 minutes for a start and try to do it for longer periods
I am not a pro, but this is effective for me.
My sister-in-law told me to watch All the bright places. And dang! I saw myself in the characters. I was once lost and can't find my way back. I'm fine now, though. This movie is a must watch! 10/10 ⭐
P.s. You can be there for someone, but you can't save them from their own monsters.
You are more than what you think. You are more than you know.
"Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself." -Breakfast at Tiffany's, 1961
I always love the first chapters. It always give me a you-can-always-start-again feeling.
"What book should I read next?"
I tend to ask myself this everytime I finish a good book.
Sometimes it took me months to get over a book. Because when I read, I always get attached to the characters, story and everything.
I live in a physical world. But when I read, I live in it, I live with it, I live like it.
